It's AMAZING!!!!! I have seen it but am indeed dying to see it again so am dragging my family there tomorrow. And then will try to drag my girlfriend even though she hated it. And then anyone else I can find. And then get the DVD as soon as it comes out (especially 'cos they cut out The Name of the Game from the actual film but it will apparently be on there) and watch it several more times. Ahh it's the best thing ever.

I must point out that it is rather crap...most of them can't sing, the plot is really rubbish and is just basically an excuse to throw in as many ABBA songs as possible, the majority of which don't really fit in with what's actually going on. But despite all that, it is the best thing EVER.

It sounds AMAZIN! I'm gonna go with my gay best friend, we'll have a bottle of lambo before and sing along!

I thought it was AMAZING, it was really enjoyable, and all the cinema was singing along to all the songs, a great atmosphere, and a decent film, even though Pierce Brosnan can't sing and a couple of the other actors can't really sing either, and the plot is a bit dodgy. Other than that, it is quite literally the greatest thing to ever have graced a cinema screen!

Yeah people were singing along when I went too, and everyone clapped at the end! That never happens in the cinema...proof of how good it is.

Pierce Brosnan singing, and later dancing, is the greatest moment in movie history.

I felt a bit out of place when I saw it, though, the audience consisted of:
*Ten year old girls
*Their dads
*Swedes
*Me.

But still really enjoyed it, we didn't quite get people singing along (probably because it's London and everyone's boring in London) but they were clapping and stuff. The only two other films I can remember clapping in were Lord of the Rings, and, erm, Wallace and Gromit.

Really recommended, go see it!

I just saw it again. :-D No one clapped this time, *beep*. And loads of them left pretty much as soon as it ended, meaning they missed all the extra songs over the credits. Fools. It's a shame Thank You For The Music is stuck right at the very end 'cos it's one of the best ones IMO.

I thought it was okay, not great. I had already seen the musical on Broadway (which I did quite like), so maybe I was influenced by the fact that it was my second time. And, I agree about Pierce Brosnan - the moment that he started singing everyone that was in my theater started laughing.

Oh, and a little aside: you may recognize the actress who plays the young girl as Karen from Mean Girls.

I think Pierce should play Mr Bond instead of singing ABBA songs. Apart from that, the film was fantastic. I didn't like the Dark Knight at first but I saw it again and it was passible this time. But I must say, Mamma Mia is a million times better. I'd give it 9/10.

The thing that was bad about it was the tedious screaming and screeching at the beginning.

It is the best film in the whole actual world. I have a feeling that if the songs weren't in it, the film would actually be a load of *beep* - but everyone is having such a fantastic time on screen.
Dancing Queen is amazing. Me and my friends all know the dance now and considering we've been to see it 8 times (more than the cast lmao) we should do to be fair.
Pierce Brosnan isn't even that great acting wise in it, so I felt he was a bit of a let down, but Julie Walters was perfect in everything she did in it.
In short - THIS FILM IS AMAZING!!!!! :smt023
