Exactly. We're on an island and have no borders (except for the NI/Ireland border), so the only votes we're going to get are from other islands with no borders.

And we didn't give any points to Ireland last year, IIRC, so they're hardly likely to vote for us...

I wouldn't say it's political and nothing else - we've just entered nothing but crap.

Same Difference would be confirming that.

What we haven't realised is that Eastern Europe, Scandinavia and much of the Mediterranean take this thing remarkably seriously. And we wonder why that's where the winners are from.

Even excluding Eastern European votes, the Serbians would still have won last year. What did the UK give them? Nil points.

(Disclaimer: I really, really liked last year's winner, and in the UK that put me in a very small minority.)

The Ukranian entry was easily the best thing in last years competition, it was imense!

the one eurovision hit i feel should of won is ours,it just had that eurovision edge to it eg flying the flag for you,but becoause i will say of this pocksy voting sytem we never had a chance :evil:

I have to disagree, Flying the Flag was terrible and i still dont no how that got through and not Cyndi's song in making your mind up last year!

The Slovenian song should have won, i love it and i still listen to it lol! I no sad! :-D
