Well, Unix started a poll on one of my two favourite singers of all time, the legendary Whitney Houston, and so I thought why not make a poll on my other fave- the incredible Céline Dion. I finally bought her new album, "Taking Chances" at the weekend and it truly is amazing. Every song is sung beautifully and even her rendition of the Heart classic "Alone" is so powerful.

I was just wondering however, even though she's probably most famous for singing the soundtrack to Titanic, which of her songs would you say is the best? (I picked out my personal faves for the poll but if you think any others are better please post them)

For me, it'd probably have to be "Can't fight the feeling" off her new album, it's really upbeat and I just love it to pieces.

I prefer both Jennifer Rush's version of Power of Love, and Heart's version of Alone, and my 2 favourites aren't on there (Think Twice and It's All Coming Back To Me)

Yeah, It's All Coming Back to Me is the best. That and That's The Way It Is, plus some of her Christmas ones...I generally can't stand the woman but those songs are amazing.

It's all coming back to me now is her best song, 2nd best for me is All by myself.

I agree with Greeny that the originals of Power of Love and Alone are better.

I love Celine but I cannot watch her sing, she fakes emotion and so on which most do but others are better actors lol, she seems like a very nice woman though, slightly nuts which I can relate to lol.

I genuinely am not sure. Most of them are no more and no less than reasonable...

Think Twice I like, and I love the irony that Céline is a big US DoND fan (and has appeared on that show via video link, the $5m season 1 finale) given that version's much lesser emphasis on gambling and the lyric 'before you roll those dice, baby think twice'...

It's All Coming Back To Me Now has been done better by Meat Loaf and Marion Raven.

My Heart Will Go On is better than it has any right to be. It's also far, far easier to sing than most people realise... I've done it at karaoke and might do it again tonight.

From that poll I'd say 'My Heart Will Go On'.

Other Celine Dion songs I like are 'A New Day Has Come' 'Because You Loved Me' and 'Think Twice'.

Interesting point there KP, which I completely disagree with. The Meatloaf and Marion Ravens version is absolutely dreadful IMO, compared with Celine's version.

Also, I forgot that my other favourite is That's The Way It Is
