So anyone else watched this after DOND today?

I thought it was a decent enough show and i'll watch it again. I quite like the little twist they have where the answers remain the same, but the questions change each round. It's quite fast paced as well, which is good. I doubt we'll ever see many massive wins on the show with the money ranging from £1,000 - £100,000, but to get to the really big money you have to answer 17+ questions in a minute.

Sounds interesting. :) I'll see if I can catch it tomorrow, but I probably won't since I'm supposed to go to the cinema then.

The end game was certainly a new twist. Shame I won't see much more of it as I'm at work but I'd be very surprised if many people went for the big money.

Here's a clip from today's end game - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HXW_Aqzm1BM

The sound is a bit out of sync, but shows you how the end game works.

I was thinking about this earlier, and basically the premise of the show is the total opposite to Deal or no Deal:

In Perfect Recall, the answers stay the same, but the questions are different...
...and In Deal or No Deal, the question stays the same, but the answer to it is different!

Well... sort of.

Anyway, this is not a bad game show, I think made a lot better by Wogan's presence. The second half is a lot better than the first, mainly because the questions in the first half are ridiculously easy. It annoys me a bit that we're shown the answers from round 2 onwards, wouldn't it be best to reveal them one-by-one as in the first round. Otherwise the audience is kinda cheating.

I like the rapid fire final round, but no one will go for the jackpot and probably not 18 or 19. Sometimes the clues are incredibly cryptic, and when they get stuck, the panic factor tends to set in, as happened today.

Overall, not a bad show.

It's a pretty good show but it's taken a while to grow on me. The board that shows the answers is surely a computer graphic edited in during the edit though isn't it? As otherwise I'm sure the players would be tempted to turn around and have a look (even by accident) even though Wogan has said they shouldn't. The board never appears in any other shots except the wide camera angle too. I'm guessing the audience see a slightly less flashy version of the board on a monitor which is out of the contestants' eyesight anyway.

Has there been a tie at any stage yet?

There was in the first show. They just ask a 21st question which has an answer on the board.

i think its a good programme, especially with Terry Wogan as host, however the endgame is a complete let down, they should just ask the questions and give the amount of money corresponding to the amount of answers they get.

They only have the "how many can you answer" bid to ensure no-one wins over £5,000-£10,000. a bit sneaky really.

It's not exactly a high payout gameshow. I think it's quite harsh that if someone chooses to go for the £100k and then answers 19/20 questions correctly, they get £0! I think you should need 15 questions right to get the jackpot... like WWTBAM, but I suppose they want to save money.

Think Paul O Gradys show is back on from a week on Monday (22nd) so you have only another week to get into it

Yeah i've actually stopped watching this show now. Whilst it's ok it's not something i've got really into and as such ain't that bothered if I see it. It's alright to pass 30 minutes or so if there's nothing else on.

I only watched it a couple of times but don't like it. Terry Wogan is a little odd.

Have only seen it 3 - 4 times on my weekly day off after watching DOND at 4.15pm which I can only do once a week as well.

Well today's episode was the last in the current series, and I have enjoyed what I've seen of it. Although I've only had it on because it's been shown after DOND, and I think that's probably how they'll get most of their viewers.

Also it's probably because Wogan is presenting it. It's a bit like when DOND first started - a lot of people (including me) only tuned in to see Noel Edmonds back on the box at first, and a lot of viewers were from the previous show in the schedules - Countdown.
