I thought i'd start this because in the space of 3 weeks, there are three films coming out that i'd liked to see:

Alien V Predator: Requiem (out last Friday, 18th)
Sweeney Todd (out 25th January)
Cloverfield (out 1st February)

Plus the 6th Harry Potter is apparently out this year as well so that should be good.

Sweeney Todd looks mint!

Harry Potter 6 is due out at end of year apparently.

The one I want to see though is Cloverfield - looks amazing!

There seems to be questions as to whether they will go ahead with that given the tragic events of Tuesday.

You can't blame "bloody horror films" for rising crime rates. I doubt seeing Michael Myers butchering Jamie Lee Curtis in the Halloween films or watching some dude with finger claws haunting people's dreams is really an incentive for people to murder/commit crimes and normally it simply acts as an excuse for certain people after they've been caught. Blame the media and you've pretty much got yourself a nice, easy ride through the justice system.
