We was discussing this for quite a while through the year but since September gone quiet.

But now the year has all-but finished, so it's time to put forward what you would call your top 10 songs of 2007!

Mine are fairly obvious, only the top three were undecided because I kept changing which one went where - anyway here they are:

1. Take That - Rule The World
2. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
3. Timbaland ft. Keri Hilson, DOE & Sebastian - The Way I Are
4. Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own
5. Fergie - Big Girls Don't Cry
6. Nelly Furtado - Say It Right
7. Mark Ronson - Valerie
8. Manic Street Preachers - Your Love Alone Is Not Enough
9. Robin with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat
10. Timbaland pts. OneRepublic - Apologise

Note that there is no room for the longest-running Number One for more than a decade as I'm still blaming it for a dismal summer of rain! ;)

3. Amy Winehouse- Back to Black
4. Mika- Grace Kelly
5. Kate Nash- Foundations
6. Leona Lewis- Bleeding Love
7. Rhianna- Umbrella

9. The Fray- How to Save a Life
10. Gym Class Heroes- Clothes Off

The 2007 list. I won't even try and put it in order, but I'll deliberately keep it to one song per artist.

Robyn with Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat
The Fray - How To Save A Life
Mark Ronson presents Daniel Meriweather - Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One
The Holloways - Generator
Amy Macdonald - Mr Rock & Roll
Hard-Fi - Suburban Knights
Editors - An End Has A Start
Sugababes - About You Now
Mika - Any Other World (better than any of the singles on Life In Cartoon Motion in my opinion!)
Take That - Shine

Remove the one-song-per-artist limitation, and Amy Macdonald gets another entry with 'Let's Start A Band', though I'm not going to guess what it'd replace.

Lewis246 - the artist you're thinking of is Scouting For Girls. Decent song, too simple and repetitive for me but I still quite like it.

Unix eight, the music significant to me this year is also not all 2007 music... there's some from the musical Wicked (started its US run in 2003, when did it come to the West End here?), there's some from Yellowcard albums of the last few years, and there's a few others that are older still.

I can totally relate to what Unix is on about - I mean, this year has indeed been a great year for music, but this year I've started going back in time, and not just to the 90's! I had an 80's phase at the end of last month and pulled out some old songs from the likes of Whitesnake and Foreigner

Actually, having just remembered it, Dancing Lasha Tumbai has to be in my list somewhere.

Yes.
