Just somewhere we can discuss the new songs in the charts and how well they do.

EDIT: Timbaland is no longer Number One - Robyn has knocked 'The Way I Are' off the top with 'Every Heartbeat'.

Sean Kingston is down 3 to number 4, meaning that either 50 Cent, Sugababes or Shayne Ward is at number 1.

To be honest, I'd rather none of those three were.

Every Sunday I shall post in here who's at the top then :)

Just for your information, Leona has been at the top for the last three weeks with 'Bleeding Love' and looks set to spend a fourth week at the top tomorrow. Her album 'Spirit' was also Number One last week.

There was a special TOTP last year, maybe it'll stay on as tradition :D

Anyways, Leona spends a SEVENTH week at Number One in the singles chart with Bleeding Love; also a fourth week at the top of the album chart with Spirit.

And the first Christmas song is in the Top Ten; Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You is at No.9

Christma tradition that Cliff releases a new song every year

Remember the charts these days count for both single sales and download sales; so Mariah would have gotten to No.9 purely on downloads alone!!!

Just having a look at the whole Top 40; The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl are also in there...one of my faves! :D

No, I think they only count legal downloads, ie. Itunes.

iTunes downloads are the only ones that count towards the chart, yeah.

Looks like Leona will spend an EIGHTH week at Number One; only for her to inevitably be knocked off the top for the Christmas chart by this year's X Factor winner.

iTunes is the most common one; Amazon I think is another.

This week's singles chart:

Leona is Number One no longer...slipped to Number Two.

Katie Melua and Eva Cassidy are the new Number One - it is a British Red Cross tribute single.

What are everyone's predictions for the Christmas top 5?

Mine are...

1) Leon from X-Factor (What a *beep* surprise  )
2) Eva and Katie (Charity singles normally sell big
3) Mariah Carey
4) Leona Lewis
5) Soulja Boy (2nd week on full release)

Doesn't look too great, only one song I actually like in there.

1) Leon Jackson - When You Believe
2) Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas
3) Katie Melua & Eva Cassidy - What A Wonderful World
4) Soulja Boy Tellem - Crank That (Soulja Boy)
5) Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love

Mariah is currently the most downloaded song on iTunes, so I can see it being at least Number Two; possibly even Number One - I know enough people wanting to boycott Leon's chances of getting Christmas Number One, so I can even see it happening!
