Before Noel Edmonds worked as a television presenter he was one of the most popular DJs BBC Radio 1 has ever had working with their flagship breakfast show for 5 years, and subsequent Sunday show for a further 6 years. In 2003 he did a brief stint with BBC Radio 2 filling in for a couple of months.

There are good examples of broadcasters who combine a career in television and radio, notably Jonathan Ross and Nickie Campbell to name two.

In a recent poll he was voted the best Radio 1 DJ ever! If Noel continued with Deal or No Deal would you like to see him return to national radio, perhaps with his own weekly show on Radio 2?

Yes, as long as he DOESN'T continue DoND... his talent is clear, his flaws quite clearly come out on DoND but would not necessarily emerge on a standard radio show.

I'm too young to remember him from his 1970s days, but I really enjoyed it when he stood in for Johnnie Walker on Radio 2 in the summer / autumn of 2003, and would like him to have a permanent slot on the radio - even if it was just a weekly slot (perhaps the Saturday morning 8am - 10am slot on Radio 2)?

Noel was pretty good when he was on radio 1 way back in the 70's I think!
