although an avid fan of DOND I do still allow myself to enjoy other game shows if they are worth watching and I must say, I did actualy quite enjoy it, I found it very watchable and quite nail biting at times, I liked Nick Hancock presenting it too. It would be a funny old world if we all liked the same things in life.

I've watched both shows now as well. The whole atmosphere feels like a low-rent DOND studio with a gameboard to match, and although it is watchable and does actually require some kind of skill to win anything and Nick Hancock is a decent presenter, I just can't get excited about the whole thing. By the end of the week I reckon I'll be completely bored. There's just no excitement to it. It's a bit like "For the Rest of Your Life". I can't decide which is worse. Neither are in the same league as DOND though.

I wonder if any former DOND contestants will be in the panel or as the main contestant. They've been on everything else! ;)

I'm with you Annie on this one. I enjoy watching it, and the tension builds up well, and I too think Nick Hancock makes a good presenter.

I wondered that too, but it'd be a bit unfair if they were one of the panel, as they may have been on TV and said what their job is - so I reckon they'll try and choose people who have not been on TV before - and they don't really need people who have been on TV before as the people on the panel don't have to do much.

That's exactly what I thought the first time I saw a certain programme, and look at me now...

I found it alright to be honest. Admittedly today's result wasn't that great but it'll be interesting to watch it for little while until DOND comes back. It's the mix of luck, judgement and powers of deduction that should make it interesting.

I don't think it'd matter too much. While a former contestant may be recognised, I doubt many people will be able to remember what their occupation is. I watch DOND pretty much every day when it's on, but couldn't tell you what most of the contestants did for a living.
