New Paul O'grady show - back monday

The only thing which bugs me is P.O.G just doesn't feel right on C4. It feels like it is made for ITV or BBC1.

Really don't know why I feel like that

I know what you mean, Channel 4 is very modern and fresh and POG is deliberately very 70's.

Paul O'Grady is unable to present the live show today, and they're showing a repeat.

I wonder what's up? They'd be due to record the Friday episode today as well (Thursday's epsiode is recorded Wednesday lunchtime, Friday's episode on Tuesday lunchtime).

I read about this on another TV forum - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday shows are live, Thursday's show is recorded Wednesday lunchtime, and Friday's show is recorded Tuesday's lunchtime.

They also played the POG trailer at the 2nd ad break during DOND... implying that it was a last minute decision that he couldn't present the show (although the trailer is pre-recorded, so it could have been shown my mistake, I suppose).

Anyway, Paul's official C4 website has this info:

I wonder why the record Thursday shows on Wednesday and Friday shows on Tuesday.

Massive BUMP here!

It's Paul O'Grady's last ever show today.

I'm not an avid watcher of it, but I often leave it on after DoND and he often has some pretty good guests. Although a lot of what he does is pretty silly! His dogs were of course a key part of the show, so it was sad that his oldest one Buster died recently.

I'll miss the show though! Does anyone else here watch it? I wonder what they'll replace it with? Presumably endless repeats of Come Dine With Me, Wogan's Perfect Recall and those endless 'buying properties abroad' programmes... I think both ITV1 and Ch4 have given up with their 5pm slots now!

I watched it from time to time. I will miss it actually, i always thought it fitted in nicely right after DoND.

yeah me to i allways seem to leave it on after dond unless my two yr old wants ceebeebies on??but he does have some fine guets and it has me in fits sometimes when he does silly stuff i know buster was s o cute and lovely i bet he will be missed so badly :smt009

allways wanted one of those nodding buster,s...........yeah it will be interesting what will follow now??????like you say probaly repeats of reapeats :roll:
