He's a bit odd when he appears on chat shows, as he tends to just speak about random stuff and it all feels very scripted. I remember he used to do a show called The Harry Hill Show on ITV1 about 12 years ago (and I think it was on C4 before that) and I thought it was rubbish. He's definitely at his best when he's doing TV Burp!

Wagbo isn't funny. Some classics tonight especially loved:

Isn't it annoying when your puppet ends up looking like you.

So Harry Hill has apparently quit the show.

A shame but it jumped the shark long ago, for us at least. Not surprised HH has had enough of it.

Yeah it's still one ITV's better Saturday night offerings even if it has declined over the past two years or so (mainly because, like HH said, ITV kept commissioning far too many episodes and he just tired of it.)

I wonder if ITV would try it out with a new host? It did seem very much a HH vehicle to me. If not, it'll be interesting to see what they get to replace it in the lead-into-X-Factor slot next year.

I've watched many clips of this show on YouTube. Absolutely hilarious stuff. Makes me wish I lived in England so that I could understand it better and experience it first-hand.

...What? Harry Hill's left the show now? Darn, that's a drag. Harry Hill was TV Burp. His impressions, analyses, etc. were amazing. But I guess his reasons for leaving were justified.

BTW, this is a bit unrelated, but I recently finished reading one of Harry Hill's books, Flight From Deathrow. Just like TV Burp, it too was a laugh riot.

I don't think ITV have confirmed that Harry Hill has left, but I assume that if he does leave, they'll axe the show altogether as it wouldn't work without him.

I was in the audience for last week's show and it was a great experience to see it all being done first-hand. Strangely, some of the stuff they filmed while I was there was cut out of last week's show, and inserted into this week's show (including the penguins and the spinning ducks*)!

*The spinning ducks were operated by string, by the way.

Apparently, Cartoon Network are showing repeats of TV Burp. What they are doing on that channel, I really don't know. :?
