Money menu has a grand total of... £264k on it, for an average of £44k. I think it's worth more than £30k, albeit not much more. The problem for Willie is that the £250k is really worth more than advertised, because it gives me a free go at making it £500k or £420k, and will pay out £320k on average as a result.

What would I have to do to win a blue? Hit the £250k in the next two (2/5), have a blue instead of the £15,000 assuming I chase the game (3/4), and then miss out on the jackpot in 23 (5/6). The chances of all of those happening - and they all assume the most aggressive gameplay possible - is 25%. I'm not scared of 25% crash chances. NO DEAL, 5 and 3!
