Tomorrow, January 7th, marks the first anniversary of Gavin's game, who won £10,000 after, as Tugger reminded me of in another thread, had a very simple system based on choosing even numbers first! :D

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

364 days since I started watching! Wow, just a year ago I had little to no idea of what DOND was, and no clue that it was about to take over my entire life...

Geordie of course dealt at £20, after famously receiving rubbish bankers from the offer. :(

He still holds the record for lowest deal ever!

Billy made an interesting point in the chatroom - on the day Geordie's game was aired, the games of Tue-28-Feb, Wed-01-Mar, Thu-02-Mar were recorded, the games of Tracey, Trevor and Mike - who won £2,900, 1p and £1 respectively - all low wins. :(

1st February on air and in recording cost Endemol a total of £2,921.01! :?

Let's hope 1st February 2007's game has better luck, and also the games being recorded today - Mon-09-Apr, Tue-10-Apr, Wed-11-Apr.

Yes, 1st February in DOND terms is quite a landmark date it would seem - it also marks the start of the month after January 2007 - the biggest ever in terms of total payout... February will have to try hard to produce the amazing games that January produced!

And it marks me starting watching. And as I'm the biggest DOND fan ever, I deserve some recognition...if Noel doesn't mention me on today's show then I'll sue him for everything he's worth.

I really do want to see Geordie's game in full - there's the 3 min clip on the C4 Hall Of fame but I'm sure it cuts out most of the best bits!

And I'm predicting a similar game today I'm afraid - think it will be the equivalent to Sharron after Lance.....

2nd February marks the 1st anniversay of the airing of Vanessa's game - who played after 25 shows, went to the end, won £20,000 in her box, box 3, and had an OPW - just what we needed after Geordie's game!

That marked the start of some brave no dealing with a high red and a low blue in subsequent games with ungenerous sixth round offers from the banker. Do you remember Vanessa's reaction when the 20K was revealed, it was priceless when she said "I've won!" :D

Yeah, had Vanessa won the £500, I doubt I'd have bothered watching another episode. Just imagine if I'd given up after two shows...actually that would probably have been a good thing. But still, Vanessa's game was awesome.

3rd February marks the 1st anniversay of the airing of Jim's game - who played after 23 shows, dealt at £17,000, but dealt too soon as his final proveout offer was £34,000, which was the highest offer in the game. However, he had 10p in his box, 15, so it wasn't all bad!

I really liked Jim! :D I remember feeling really sorry for him in the proveout.
