May I skip a day to tomorrow, (Sunday) as I will be in bed all day then nursing a hangover.

Can't beleive it'll be a year since Anna's game.

Heh, that's still the most bizarre Deal ever in my book...imagine if she'd had the £250k in her box!! Beryl was still a legend, though...I loved it when she would just immediately whack the box open without even giving Noel a chance to say anything.

Beryl, Beryl, Beryl.

She was such a great character, but her game was so disappointing for me to watch :(

Still, we loved her all the same :D

Indeed it is... the 25th February 2006 marks the 100th show of DOND, and on this show, Anna played her game with box 11, after 27 shows on box opening duties. She dealt at what was then her highest offer of the game – offer 5 of £43,000. However, the sixth (proveout) offer was £91,000 on a £1 vs. £250k board, and it turned out she had £250k in her box… on the 100th show! ;)

Awww Anna was one of my favourite contestants at that time - I'd forgotten how much I like her actually, perhaps my Top 10 needs updating!!

So pleased she got such a big win! :D

Anna *beep* rocked. I love the bit at the end of her game where Noel's all "Oooh it would have been so great to have a quarter-millionaire", and she just keeps saying "Mmm" in a really pissed-off tone....I love Anna.

I also liked the way she just got on with it and played the game. She remains planted to the chair throughout. None of this jumping around nonsence.

Deifintely a game I want to see again. Anna was HOT! :)

She even had the same sequence as 1p Trevor's game a few days later, only starting at Box 11 rather than 1! Funny that her first 4 offers were TERRIBLE!

There was no show on 26th February last year, as it was a Sunday, so the next landmark is 27th February - the penultimate day of February - and the day on which Bearded Gary took box 2 to the Pound Table after 22 shows on the wings. Gary turned down the highest and final offer of his game - £11,900 on a £10k vs £15k board. He swapped boxes, and swapped for box 8… which contained £15k... meaning he 100% beat the banker!

BEARDED GARY WAS A LEGEND!!! One of the most underrated players/games ever.

Gary had a great OPW, not the biggest amount, but one of the one's that is really satisfying and enjoyable to watch :D

I always think of him and his neighbour Paul (2) as being 'forgotten' players, despite both producing great games!

Please could someone YouTube the moment when the first box is opened and we see the coloured inserts for the first time? I missed Gary's game so it sounds really funny, especially with it being Mike :D

It was also a year ago today (in the Bothers Bar commentaries anyway), that sequence-gate was discovered - odd that Gary's game doesn't appear to match any of them :)

On 28th February last year, Tracey took box 9 to the table after 20 shows on the wings. She had very low offers all game due to a poor board, her peak offer being the fourth offer of £3,600! She dealt at her final offer of £2,900 on a £250 vs £10k finish, and she had £250 in her box.
