Does anyone else think Chelsea looks loads better with her hair long and straight rather than in a ponytail? Her face looks harsh when shes got a ponytail, with straight hair she looks lovely! I think she'll be quite funny in her game, looking forward to it! :D

I definitely prefer Chelsea with her hair down, not that she doesn't look great with her hair in a ponytail too mind!

I think I've become slightly hooked on DOND because of Chelsea. Yes she is obviously completely gorgeous but the main reason I'm a fan is empathy. I too look much younger than my age and if drives me ****in crazy!! I'm pretty small (5'7) and I probably don't look my 24 years but do people really need to point this out every time they find out? -Anyway minny rant..-, but I just want to slap Noel across the face every time he infers Chelsea looks like a 12 year old. -..over-.

Chelsea comes across as a really nice genuine person (she's always one of the first people over to congratulate or commiserate with the players and their partners at the end of a game), she's very unassuming, has such a lovely smile and last but not least has that wonderful scouser accent!

Needless to say I'm in.

But £17,000 is a lot for you, enjoy it! :D xxx

I'd dissagree Killerbee. Are you telling me you are either foolish enough or have have so much more money than sense that you'd be willing to throw away 17K on the 50:50 chance of winning 50K? I sure as hell don't.

Being one of her biggest fans far before the game I said she seemed genuinely nice, unassuming (in a good way of course) and had a lovely smile.

Therefore I can safely say I very much overhyped her game today (through absolutely no fault of her own may I add, after all she is extremely unassuming). After watching the game on C4 catch-up however I can honestly say Chelsea's game was best one I've ever seen it didn't disappoint my extremely high expectations producing a stormer!

Nobody can say Chelsea was not genuinely lovely! :smt018: No-one. When she started her game by suggesting that she'd like to help her sick Nan buy her house you could see it was a completely genuine gesture. I said here’s a person who genuinely loves her family and genuinely wants to give back to a person who’s obviously given so much to her.
Chelsea spent far more parts of her game talking about other people, in her life and in the studio. She never for a second focused on herself or begrudged an attention her fellow contestants got (for example, Constance doing the 'come back after the break thing').
Chelsea didn't have a lovely smile, she had one of the most lovely contagious amazing smiles I've ever seen from anyone!
Anyway enough of my swooning, but I don't think I'm alone, did you see how Noel couldn't keep his hand off her? And I don't think I've ever seen him be nicer to a player ever!

To the game.

As you can probably see from above I wanted Chelsea to do quite well to say the least. After her first round I thought Chelsea would have been lucky to leave with anything over 6k and I thought she'd be, at the least, absolutely devastated (I would be and let it show!).
Box 1 she takes out the 250k Chelsea's still smiling
Box 2: 20k She smiles on!
Box 5: 100K gone and she's still genuinely smiling and obviously happy to be there!!

R1: After round 1 Chelsea takes out 4 big reds (including the biggest 2), gets an offer of £4.50 and is she one bit phased!? Not a chance!

If it had of been me I would have been much more like Arran :eyes: & :( and went to pieces, Chelsea's 5 years younger than me and she completely takes it in her stride.

Round 2: Chelsea has a good round take's out 2 blues and the 1k gets an offer of 4.5k and coolly continues.

Round 3: Chelsea takes out 15k and 5K but continues smiling on. She gets a marginally better offer (6.5k) which I thought was bound to be her best offer of the day but again Chelsea continues boldly on. Personally I might have cashed in here, Chelsea keeps smiling and keeps going!

And so begins the nail biking phase of the game.

Round 4: Chelsea takes out her highest box, 75K but remains cool calm and collected. At this stage she gets a decent enough offer of 4K which I'm urging her to take now but Chelsea no deals.

Round 5: I'm very on edge now willing an all-blue round so Chelsea's gamble'll pay off. It's not to be, Chelsea takes out her 2nd highest box 35K. Chelsea again gets a decent-ish offer of 5k.
Chelsea again is completely cool calm and collected and doesn't let any emotion show and does (what I imagine does at this point from what I saw on screen) was work out her odds. Now I'm on the edge of my seat begging Chelsea to take this offer (which was so close to her highest one in round 3) but Chelsea bravely no deals and more amazingly still genuinely smiles! I don’t know how she can do this as calmly as she did!

This is extremely gutsy and shows Chelsea came here to play. With only one big red left on the board (50K) and only 3K as a back up the game’s very precarious.
If Chelsea had of taken out the 50K and left the 3K her next offer would have most likely been sub 1k or not much over it. This was more likely to happen than not happen and I’m sure Chelsea knew it.
If Chelsea had of taken out the 50K and the 3K the game would have been over.
Again her no deal was extremely gutsy!

Final round: I’m genuinely covering my eyes :smt103: Chelsea takes out £500, big cheer! Next box 3K, Chelsea doesn't blink, final box contains the £1 and the crowd goes wild! :smt023: leaving 50k and the 50p!

The banker offers 17K and Chelsea wisely deals showing that not only did she come to DOND to play but that she's not foolish. It makes no odds that Chelsea had the 50k, she knew when the right point to get out was. The only person who would have thrown 17K away at this point was either an eejit (or at best extremely gullable) or a person who can afford to throw away 17K which I would understand to be millionaires give that 17K is well over my previous year’s annual salary.

As I say I would have probably left at 6k or 5k and had a nervous breakdown in the process.

Well done Chelsea and I really hope you enjoy your winnings and your new drum kit!! Oh and I also hope you have music loving neighbours! :smt023: Thanks for the great TV!

Most people will think I'm either at, best mad or more likely overly obsessive to write this essay which no one will probably read.. but I really genuinely loved this game and I thought Chelsea played it magnificently! I loved writing a blow by blow account of it because I was genuinely on the edge of my seat on throughout the game, especially in the last round. I really wanted this wonderful person to take way a substantial amount of money and I was so glad she did! And more than this I wrote it during the first half of the Ireland Cyprus world cup Qualifier (we're winning 1:0 by the way :D very, very happy indeed!).

Technically, she "blew" £33,000, since she got £17,000. Anyway, I thought she seemed like a really lovely girl, so I'd like to belatedly join her fanclub.

Yeah, great game, great player.

Chelsea does come across as one of those increasingly rare people who are both genuinely nice and quite altruistic in nature, I'm so glad she did well.

She looked awesome in her game, she's gorgeous and lovely and caring, one of the nicest people they've had on this series I rekcon! Her smile was just gorgeous, I'm pleased that she took something home, I would have dealt too at 17k, its sooo much money for someone her age who needs it for all sorts! :D

Couldn't agree more! Her smile was completely infectious! And she was absolutely gorgeous! It I'll take a great contestant to replace her in the west wing or follow her game for that matter of fact.
