Bing's game today.

Image

A very dapper Noel does the intro - he's dressed up very smartly today with a bowler hat and a rose in his top pocket ;)

The contestants are all dressed up smartly too!! Noel sounds very sexy with his extra deep voice due to his cold  Noel says the man who only loves money - the banker - will have his heart and his wallet broken today!!

Noel runs through the heart twist...

I did think it was going to be her game today and I'm right!

Last time she had box 17, £5.

Last few games she has had blue which is very good.

Bing has box 17.

Noel tells Bing to take the walk of love!!

She is wearing a fur coat and a silk dress!!! Noel throws tissues about as she arrives at the Crazy Chair... Noel says we need to drop the Thames Flood barrier... as Bing is crying... as she is so pleased and overwhelmed they picked her for the Valentine's Day show, as they thought they would choose a handsome man or pretty woman!!! :( Noel tells her not to be silly...

She talks briefly about a health problem she had involving thyroid problems. She says she likes cakes and isn't going to tell any lies about her weight :P

She says she's feeling better now...

Her real name is June Crosby - and she says everyone in her family is nicknamed Bing because of Bing Crosby!! She isn't related to the man himself though...

She shows some pics of her daughters who are in their 20s... she has Katie in the audience with her. She has a man in her life called Philip and they have co-habited for 20 years now.

Is it me or everytime they add the extra heartbeat the game doesn't go the way the player wants to? Either the big money goes or the proveout reveals low amounts.

Well, that worked out. Although I'd have Wakeyed it today, and won £5k through the swap...

If she'd picked 4 first in round 6 she'd probably have been offered (and Dealt?) about £16,000...

oi! i didnt want to know that! Please dont say that theres going to be big wins coming our way, because i dont want to know about them until there shown on TV!

Anyways,
At the beginning of the show when Bing talked about how they picked good looking people to play the valentines special show and they picked her and the way how she was saying she was fat and that (i know she was joking about it) i felt so sorry for her, she is a really good looking girl who is so lovely and kind to the other players. Then the game happened and when all the big reds started to go i was just devastated for her, she deserved a big amount of money! But £5,000 is nothing to be sniffed at and she deserved every penny of it (well she deserved alot more!)

Well Done Bing, Enjoy £5,000!

I'd laugh if Sarah's wrong. :P

This certainly wasn't a mega win, but at least she avoided the blue win that so many wouldn't!

Sorry but that was one of the least enjoyable games for a while. She was so annoying and the game was quite crap to be honest.

I liked the dress ups though

Bing has been my favourite player for a while now and whilst I did enjoy her game I thought that there might of been some extra twist or surprise today for Valentines day itself.

I did like the costumes and I found Noel's opening today really funny with him trying to be posh and suave.

It's a shame that Bing didn't get any more money out of the game, but she never got any high offers anyway and whilst I would of no dealt £5,000 at 3-box I can understand why she dealt when she did. I actaully thought she was going to deal earlier on because twice I thought she was going to deal when she didn't.

Posted: Thu Feb 14, 2008 20:49
She did not look happy when she was picked...

I was thinking, the 8-box board looked similar to Glen's, and she got an even lower offer than he did! Mind you, she went on to play the heart at just the right time, and did well to get the result she did. Well done on £5,000 Bing (who's got the same birthday as my sis!)

A great character who didn't get any luck today. I thought tactically she made a mistake waiting until 4 boxes were left to play her heart (and that's without hindsight). Why risk dodging the £100K 2 boxes when you can guarantee an offer after only 1 box.

Posted: Thu Feb 14, 2008 22:04
Well I thought 8000 pounds was just an amazingly low offer for the board

Sorry If I caused any spoilers Sarah said it first in the spoilers I thought it was somewhere else sorry for spoilers

I take it that if you think that someone who was a great character on the wings with loads of personality like Bing is annoying you would prefer if 22 robots with no personality at all were on the wings every day. How boring would that be. No wonder we dont get any contestants on here now (or very few anyway) with daily character assassinations like this on here.

I just generally found bing annoying. I'm sure she's a lovely lady.

I'll be honest and say I'd started to find Bing a bit irritating during her time on the wings as she did seem to be talking about stuff that was so random it started to get a bit boring. But in her game I really liked her and thought she was very nice.

The show overall had a very nice feel to it, with all the contestants dressed up, and I thought it was done very well without being too tacky or OTT.

A good show with a rather unfortunate game... but £5,000 is a nice sum of money to take away when a lot of people probably would've won £5 from that game!!
