Noel says it took 10 days of games to decide which sex was better at Deal Or No Deal, and despite the men storming ahead outside the competition, the 5 women - Brenda, Nea, Pamela, Irene and May - led the women to victory, and as a result, one of the women on the wings today will be playing for £500,000, so let's see that board...



Noel says that everyone looks very smart as they are all dressed up in suits and dresses! He says that a few days ago, the women voted for the woman they'd want to play on this show, and he he announces today's player as...Scarlett

Scarlett covers her mouth in shock before picking up Box 8 and taking the walk of wealth! Scarlett Sutherland is a 27-year old jewellery shop owner and part-time model - what an exciting job title, Noel says! Scarlett says sometimes when people say 'model' they think of Page 3 and that sort of thing, but she definately didn't do anything like that! Scarlett talks about her daughter Sarah, who is 3. Scarlett explains that she adopted her because she found out she was unable to have children - Scarlett says that since adopting her, she has done a lot of charity work in order to help children find loving families, and also to help any children who are the victims of domestic violence...Scarlett says she feels very passionately about it and hopes to adopt another child very soon, once Sarah gets through that very annoying toddler phase! Noel says her amazing charity work is probably why she was voted to play today...

Noel asks Scarlett what sort of player she is, and Scarlett says she's not cautious, or a targetist, or a gambler...she says she'll play the board as it comes and we'll see what happens! Noel says it'll be very exciting as we now have a Power of 6 with the addition of the £500,000 to the board...Scarlett says she needs to introduce her husband Harry, and Noel has some banter with him about his bald head!

Scarlett says she can't wait to get going, and Noel asks her to confirm she chose Box 8 at random, before the show, which she does...

An imbalance in our favour, and of course, those huge 3 sums still there, Noel says...he tells Scarlett the further the £500,000 stays in, the bigger and bigger the offers will esculate...the banker rings and says that in order to be evil, if she finds the £500k in the next round, he's taking the £250 from each player on the wings back! For now, here's a nice sum to think about...

Scarlett brings her husband down and Noel says he looks very scruffy compared to her, and he could have made an effort! Scarlett talks to him and he tells he he thinks there's another round in it...Scarlett takes a deep breath and asks for the question...

Scarlett says she's shaking...she tells Noel she desperately wants to go on, and asks her husband Harry if they can take the risk...he tells her to do whatever she wants to do...Scarlett says it's close to the hardest decision she's had to make...Sebastian says the average is about £110,000, so he's way below half of it...Scarlett says that when it's such huge money, the averages don't seem to matter as much as the money is so important...she looks at her husband, and he says he knows what she wants to hear, so he tells her to go on...she holds his hand and says she's ready

The roof is lifted...there is still one more box to go, but Noel says at least two of them are safe now! He tells Scarlett that this is unbelievable...one more, she says....

Scarlett collapses over the pound table in joy as the pilgrims cheer....Noel thanks her for making the most of this amazing moment and she says she can't believe it! Everyone on the wings are going crazy as the £3,000 disappears to leave the top 3 there at 5-box, including £500,000....

Noel says he has no idea where the offer will be pitched now...he tells Scarlett that she is an amazing woman and she thanks him as she wipes her eyes and the phone rings...the banker says that £40,000 was below half the mean, but he's not taking that risk again, as he wants her out!

Scarlett smiles, and it turns into laughter...she says it's such amazing money, she can't even believe it's really there for her...her husband says it's really serious now...Noel asks Sebastian how it stacks up with the average, and Sebastian says the average is £170,000, so it's only a small bit over half...Scarlett says she knows she can end with two of those three in the end, but she's so scared of losing £99,000...she says she thinks one is in her box, and she thinks one is in Box 17...she asks if she can really turn down nearly 6-figures....she asks if the banker can raise it just that 1 grand more! The banker rings and asks if she will definately deal if he does, and Scarlett says she will...the banker says he thinks she'll deal without the extra grand, so it's a no deal from him! Scarlett sighs and asks for the question....

Scarlett says

Everyone cheers and Noel says Scarlett is now our biggest winner...Scarlett says it would have been Box 17 last, so she'll just find the others...Noel says we must have an awful round for Scarlett to win!
