Billy's game today.

Noel talks about how Zoe turned her game round yesterday after recieving four offers of £999! He says that in the past few days, the big money has just not been there, and we're hoping to match a brave player and a strong board today...we take a look at that board now...



Billy has box 16 and shouts 'COME ON!' as he takes the walk of wealth...obviously nervous, says Noel! 26-year-old Billy Appleton works at a casino! Noel says that explains his gambling attitude towards the game, and Billy says that he's learnt from the best in the casino...he talks about how he did some part-time modelling recently, and Noel talks about the bankers jokes about his hair looking like a womans....

Billy doesn't have anyone in the audience today, and doesn't have any pictures! Noel says what he's lacking, he makes up for with his great attitude and enthusiasm towards the game...Billy confirms the random choice of Box 16

This is going well, says Billy...Noel quickly slips in the contrast, as Lucy is from rainy Wales!

Well that was good says Noel, a trip around the world and an all-blue round! Billy says it's looking very strong...Noel says he thought Billy would be louder in his game, and Billy says that he's saving it all for the later stages of the game, where the decisions are harder...the banker rings and says it's a board to be feared once more!

The audience cheer and a few members of the wings look very impressed. Noel says that the banker is scared, especially at Billy's last comment. Billy says it's huge money, but the odds are in his favour as long as he doesn't repeat that awful round....

Billy says now it becomes more important as no one has dealt at any of the first three offers yet...he asks Robbie for a blue....

Fantastic, says Noel...Billy runs and gives Robbie a high-five!

Billy winces...Noel says that judging by the way he dealt with the loss of the £250k, Billy is going to take some time to recover from that, so he calls a break!

Two blues and the £75,000 makes it what Noel calls a balanced round...Billy says he's happy, there's still a six-figure sum on the board...the banker rings and says that any intelligent gambler is not a reckless one, and he tells Billy not to be reckless with this offer...

Billy smiles and nods and the audience cheer...Noel checks through his book and says its the third highest offer at this point, and without the £250,000, that makes it a very good offer! Billy says he doesn't want to be foolish...he says there's a 50% chance of more in his box, and 50% chance of less...he says he always goes for it with those kind of odds, even though they're risky, but he says it's a very difficult decision because it's so much money to him....

Billy says

We can't afford to hit the big number now, says Noel...you've shown your bravery and now show your luck!

17 - £35,000 Maud seems to take forever opening the box! Billy shakes his head and admits it's not a good start...

Find the last blue, says Noel, and the loss of the £35k will be irrelevent!

A very powerful board at 5-box, says Noel, and he says the banker will be desperate to get him out! Billy asks what the highest win is so far, and Noel tells him it's Andrews £37,000...Billy wants a higher offer than that...the banker rings and says that'd be over the mean, and he's not prepared to go that far to get him out...

Billy cheers and looks out to the audience...he asks who would deal and most stand up...Billy says that although it's a great offer, there's an 80% chance he has £10,000 or more in his box, and he says he could cope with going from £30,000 to £10,000...Melinda asks what if he has £250 in his box, and Billy tells her that's why it's called a gamble. Noel does a sweep....

Incredibly brave, says Noel...he tells Billy a player like him only comes around very occasionally, and he's glad he's making the most of the game...he says he so wants this to pay off for him, and Billy says so does he!

Cheers...Billy shakes his hand and says that it's a great start...he looks at the board and says he wants that £250 gone...

Billy throws back his head...he says he needs the blue now....

Are you going to win £50,000 today? asks Noel...Billy says yes, and the banker rings and says that it's this offer or £250...he says it should be a no brainer, because Billy took the major risk and it hasn't paid off...another would be foolish...

Billy says that again, it's a great sum of money, but he thinks he has the £50,000...he says that the other main gambler is Robbie, and he asks him what to do...Robbie says that it could be considered foolish to go on, but the fools will be the ones who win the £250,000, or in this case, the £50,000...he says it's very risky, as to drop from £30,000 to £250 would be dreadful. Billy says he's right and tells Noel that he doesn't need to ask anyone else.

Billy says

It's too much money, and Billy agreed with the banker when he said he'd already made the main risk of the game...Noel hopes he's right, and that there wasn't another gamble to be made...

Noel opens Box 16 and reveals £50,000

Billy puts his hand to his head and says he's gutted....

Mary-Louise opens box 7 and reveals the £250

If only I had managed to find the £250 in the last round, I would have gotten that £50k, says Billy. Noel agrees and says it's so unfortunate that that it just how the game goes...he congratulates Billy on £19,000, and tells us to watch again tomorrow!
