That must have been a good show to have been in the audience Billy!

Today's show had something of a surreal quality, but it really worked,
and after a poor start, a good result, well done Dan on winning 10K! :D

You don't regard Eric's game as decent?

I was thinking that too, that was the only other decent banker beating in my opinion and Violet's and Dave's were good wins although the banker won.
kathleen's game was a more than decent win although it was spoilt by the overcautious deal.

Although I hope someone has a good board soon, goes for it, takes a calculated risk and wins big.

I think any OPW is a decent game, actually.

Dan didn't say much on the wings, but I liked him today. The Independence Day theme didn't annoy me as much as I thought it would.

This is IMO by the way. a decent game?

£35,000+
TPW or OPW
Good player.

If you think that it has to be over 35k to be a decent game, you are going to find hardly any decent games at all, and not all decent games are TPWs or OPWs either, though I can understand this, but 35k + wins are rather rare.

Yeah, I kinda agree. It's just now, I need a real boost (£75k or over, unlikely) to get me more excited about the show, cause now its on a low. Even when Kathleen dealt at £45k, I can't believe her post-position. It's just not going well.

BTW, nice to see, oh, hear the blue chants today :D

Aaron's conditions almost make sense for a 'great' game, but are certainly inappropriate for merely describing the game as 'decent', unless you're a Wakeyist like he is.

Anyway, back to today, he took the marginal decision and was just about right to do so. He should be happy with that and no doubt is.

I though the banker might have done the £9,999 proveout offer joke like in Maddie's game (and in Gary Peters Float's game but with different values involved!) :)

Well that was a good entertaining show - I have to admit to being disappointed when he dealt, as it was well below his target, there was only one blue left and he would definitely have told others to no-deal in that situation. But it worked out for him, he beat the Banker though it still wouldn't have been a complete disaster had he gone on!

The fact that Dan revealed a target at the start filled my heart with gloom. That meant that any decent board was likely to be squandered once his target was met. But it didn't happen like that and it was a struggle to get anything decent out of the game.

It really was a fun show. Dan laughed and smiled all the way through, the Independance thing wasn't too over the top and Brians face with the lucky wig was a sight to behold. And he got a decent enough amount after a bit of a struggle.

An entertaining show despite the 5 box deal.

I'm surprised the banker didn't start with an opening offer of £4,444. Or even 4,707 :-D

I did the commentary for this show so I was probably more involved in this game than I would normally be, and I must admit I was slightly dreading the Independence Day stuff, but it worked quite well I thought and they didn't go too OTT with it. Still don't know why they celebrated it though, especially when they didn't last year!

Anyway well done Dan on the £10,000 win - the right deal at the right time on what was a good show overall!

Must've been a good one to watch live, Billy! :P

Especially seeing Noel coming out in a dress!!
