Oh no!! Yet another one-box game! :(

And what's Noel on about when he says Rita would've been on the wings when the banker was dishing out the £26k offers? I thought that was around February time! :?

The offer receives groans, but Noel says you only have to look at the board to see why it was offered. Rita asks her husband to join her again...

Rita says

DEAL

I was expecting her to take the 3rd offer and have a naughty naughty Barbara style proveout.

It can't be £1,000 for the 4th day in a row...Surely? Has Rita broken the record for the lowest sale of the £250k?

Actually it's the third day in a row. Karen brought £10,000 to the table and swapped for it.

But it's still finished on the table four straight games - still weird!

Interesting that the Laura offer came out again. The banker would've seen Rita as cautious though, so I suppose the £45k offer was about right!

Yes, we mean 4th day in a row that it's been opened at the end of the game...which is bizarre!

Notice how nice Noel is being, even though Rita missed out on nearly £40k. If she's been a male contestant, he would be doing a massive guilt trip at the end. It was understandable why she dealt, after that unlucky 4th round, but I had a feeling she should have gone on at least one more round.

Haha, yes! He did the same with Betty when it turned out she'd dealt too soon - basically, if the contestant's female and old or female and young and attractive, Noel doesn't do a guilt trip! :? If they're male, they get one...

Anyway, that was a very funny show but yet again, the big money was just not available! When will we get another large win? DOND is about variety and we've had a run of below-£10k wins recently... it's definitely going through a rocky patch at the moment in terms of winnings!

Well done Rita for dealing when you thought was right and enjoy the money!

I really liked Rita and hope she and her husband
enjoy a trip to Canada and a wonderful 50th anniversary
celebration later this year.
In terms of any reasonable kind of offer it was a one box game
so precarious after that disastrous 4th round.
I'm glad that Rita didn't get into the hall of fame as the biggest
squanderer ever with £1,000 revealed (instead of 250K) for the 4th show in succession.

Well I'd class £45k as pretty big... (Although admittedly she'd have had to take a big risk to get there.)

Thank *beep* for that...I was getting ready to kill myself at the most depressing ending ever, but thankfully it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I never thought I'd be sitting there desperate for the bloody £1k to have come to the table yet again!!

Rita was hilarious in the first two parts of the game and I really wanted her to win loads more but she still seemed quite happy with what she got...well done Rita!
