Oh dear another unfortunate £1,000 win!

Oh well enjoy £1,000 Renee, I probably would have gone all the way too due to the way the game panned out. The £3,000 offer was a bit insulting, I thought.

I'd have gone on to £2,000 before deciding against the evens coinflip gamble. I don't think £10,000 would have taken me out as £35k/£75k in the final five wouldn't have been far short of £20,000, as indeed he said, and there was room for a decent four-figure bailout on £75k/peanuts. But the £3,000 forced her to the end.

 Noel 'adores' it when people come and play the game. Someone should remind the thick idiot that its called 'Deal or no deal' - not 'lets waste time opening all the boxes, because I'm just going to have whatever's in mine!"

There's just nothing going the contestants' way at the moment. The big amounts haven't been staying in play until the later stages, and on the odd occasion they do it seems to be when the player has bailed out at offer 3 or 4!

There were so many remarkable games either side of the year end, and we've just been seeing the other side of it these last couple of months. A bit like it was around a year ago, really. Still, well done Renee, an entertaining contestant and £1,000 is at least a useful bit of cash.

What a brave bubbly lady wish the bravery had paid of with a bigger amount but loved the game a real character

Why do all the brave players recently seem to be getting such bad luck!

Another gradual erosion of big numbers and no chance for any really juicy offers at any stage. Still she played the game with a bit of spirit and at least went to the end.

When I think of the big jessies that have squandered golden boards and then courageous players like Karen and Renee have to struggle valiantly to get anything out of the game it makes my blood boil.

And not being offered the swap seemed suspicious to me.

There's no point them offering the swap really when there's two similar amounts like that remaining, might as well just get it over with. That also tends to happen when they get an all-blue finish, except perhaps when the 1p is involved.

Of course they sometimes just cut it out of the broadcast, as a few past contestants have confirmed has happened with their game.

Ohhhhh :( I liked Renee. Crazy Rosy got bad luck, and so did she...

She deserved so much more, and the noel hugging made me laugh!

There is no room left for suspicion anymore, let's call a halt to it.

Look at it like this; the show feels a bit flat at the moment. Despite the fact they are good contestants and the banter and offers are great. But no-one's bringing big money and the games are all tiny wins. That's dull. If they knew what was in the boxes they would interfere to try and not let periods like this happen. By picking players with big money and then making tiny offers.

Plus, as I have said before, Ch4 admitted dond was investigated for fairness by independent lawyers during the phone scandal thing. It was all passed. If they knew what was in boxes they wouldn't not be allowed to say otherwise. It would be illegal. End of story.

I liked Renee but where is the BIG MONEY??!?

It is really frustrating to watch at the moment, particularly as I've been catching up on all those fantastic games from January recently!

I think we're just getting the payback from all the big money games either side of the end of the year. It does tend to go in cycles, and at the moment it's just constant bad luck leading to increasing caution. It was a bit like that as we approached the summer break last year. Hopefully we won't have to wait that long for the turnaround!

even with the big amounts in play they gotta get to round 4 now as the offers are very low lately, so they gotta hope for really good boards.

Admittedly Renee took out big numbers each round (apart from before the £10k offer) and I certainly don't blame her for playing to the end, given that run of boxes, but I still get annoyed when Noel says how fantastic it is when "someone plays the game". It's just not clear to me why Noel thinks it is so fantastic for someone to go all the way to the end of the game, to win a comparatively small amount, rather than deal before the game collapses.

Don't get me wrong - with Renee's run of boxes, I reckon most people would have be tempted to keep going, but the fact remains that Renee could have got £10k out of that game if she'd dealt at a certain point. But that all gets brushed over because she "played the game". Hurrah.

I still hope she enjoys her £1,000 - it was a shame she didn't win more.

£1,000 boxes are really making up for lost time!

Typical that of the two people who've had the 1k/3k finish, the one who's dealt the 2k had the 3k in their bix, and the one who turned it down only had the 1k! :(

We are in a bit of a trough at the moment I must say - in the last 5 games, there have only been a couple of offers of over 10k! None of the offers seemed tempting today I must say - 2k is the most I'd have won!

It seems like the start of April again - we need a game like Charlie's to turne things around (that game was unbelievable considering the run of bad luck the players were having at the time)!
