Not sure. It was like his subconscious-annoy-meter was on high today.

That was an awesome game and Derek was a really funny character (surprised that some people here didn't like him)!

Anwyay, a very good, funny game - with the humour coming from the player themselves rather than the use of props, so it was a very good show in my book - a big money win and an OPW as well!

Well done Derek and enjoy the money!

Hey! You leave irritating old duffers out of this thanks! ;)

Have only just got round to watching this game now. Can see how he might have split opinions, but I thought he was great and, more importantly, knew how to time a deal. This might have been brought up in another thread, but it was interesting how he requested the first round to be a 'quickie' and then didn't get it. :? Maybe, along with the blue chants, they have been confined to the history book?

I was worried when it was Derek - the day after someone refuses to take Geordie's lowest deal record, they emulate Geordie again by having someone return from illness on a Tuesday show then play on the Wednesday. I suppose Welsh David did exactly the same and he got a £30k OPW so it was kind of appropriate Derek did as well. :)

I was actually splitting my sides during that, it was so funny - he seemed to give the impression he had no idea what he was doing, but got an OPW out of it (though I wish he'd left an all-blue finish and not avoided the £35k) :)
