Apart from me being absolutely GUTTED about swapping box 4 and the 1p to the table, he never actually bought the box to the table. He bought £75,000.

He also was the only penny winner to win £15,000 more! AMAZING! WELL DONE PJ! How crap box 4 acted today, he is my tied favourite player ever.

ouch!

strange game that - has to be the cruellest offer ever - I was expectign at least £20k.

Glad he got the 15k - but that was just plain cruel!

I had a bad a feeling about this game as I knew one day someone would do a bad mid game swap. The banker was evil but what an amazing ending! That was extremely unfair - I thought he would offer 26K! I've never been a fan of mid game swaps as they give the game an uncomfortable feeling and it isn't clear whether the player has beaten the banker or not.

It mucked up the rules but was amazing TV! He was so scared of opening box 19 so why did he swap in the first place?! If you're confident enough to swap why not open it straight after? It was like Jack's game? why did he swap if he was going to deal anyway?

Don't quite know what to make of that :?

Why didn't he just offer him 15k in the first place. It seemed an unnessisary twist. They dragged out the no offer thing for far to long to just give him something at the end

I agree. I knew there was something weird going to happen when he was at the final 2 and there was 15 minutes left  HOw mean was the banker- what an evil man offering a swap instead of a final offer!

I agree with KP. This isn't Big Brother where Endemol can just change the rules as they go along.

You can't change the rules of a gameshow unless one of the rules is that they can change the rules.

He was so sure of himself at the beggining the ending made sense he shoulda had the 1p and thats it. But I had a feeling something was gonna happen so would get a bit more out of it.

Hes the 10th member of the 1p club officially though so raise a glass lol.

Good game enjoy the £15,000,01

Yeah, but they were offered money at the end.

I reckon PJ would have been offered £15,000 at the end which would have been equally as cruel. He probably would have turned that down, won 1p, and got no chance of winning the £15,000 viewer prize.

I'm just so glad he got £15,000 out of that. He is a 1p winner, but with £15,000 extra. WELL DONE PJ. WOuld be the best game ever if he swapped for box 3

That was the biggest pile of steaming *beep* I've read about in a long time. I haven't watched it yet as I'm at uni at the moment... I'll be watching it when I get back!!!!

This was worse than Craig's game!

Is PJ the 10th member of the 1p club or not?

Has he won £15,000.01?

Is it an OPW or an OBW?

What the *beep* has happened to this show?!

It's such a shame when such a good TV show has to resort to such crap measures - why can't they just leave the format alone?! :?

Hello all, long time lurker, first post:

Weird game today, even ignoring the bonus box at the end.

jmas07 wrote:
PJ has no target, and reckons the £250,000 is in his box 19.

Which he then swapped for box 4... but refused to open box 19, leaving it until the end. :?

He was such a nervous wreck at the 2-box stage that I think he would've grabbed even a low monetary offer if the banker had timed it right.

It seems that if you swap away a box mid-game, you should open it rather than leave it to avoid the banker putting you through the wringer.

Hey, my commentry wasn't that bad! What a game to comment on though. That game had everything in it. It also had something in it which shouldn't have been in it. And no, that's not the no money offer at the end. 4 underperformed big time all thanks to greeny.

If he had a 6th offer I'm pretty sure he would have dealt it (as long as it wassnt derisory), the Banker was always going to offer him the viewers prize if he won 1p, so he was garunteed at least £1,000.01 before Noel opened his box. I'd still say we only have 9 members of the 1p club.

But yeah the format changing was *beep* but it did make cracking telly!
