It was great to see Leila today and her mum we all arrived at the train station on January 31st. Although it did appear that her mum was butting in (cos she was) but she only had Leilas best interests at heart and it could have easily gone the other way, I think she was just scared Leila was so excited she was literally in la la land and would have lost the plot without her mams grounding. :smt018

I miss Bristol, I miss the show, I miss Leila, I miss her mam, I miss em all! Congrats Leila heaps love xxx :smt039

This puts it into perspective a bit Jeannie. By rights you should have been playing about now and it seems ages ago since your game. It hardly seem fair that you were picked so early. I've yet to fathom out the selection procedure for picking the days player. Its obviously not random so why you so early?

Well done Leila on your £11,000! I'm not sure when I'd have dealt - probably at the first £18,000; definitley at the second. As for Leila's mum, yes, a bit interfering perhaps - but come on, she is her Mum and only has Leila's best interests at heart! There should be no regrets about dealing when she did - she could have got £50,000 had she carried on to the end - but this was very unlikely to happen, meaning that the maximum she'd have got out of the game is really £18,000 anyway, as she would (presumably not) have gambled to the end, even if her mum wasn't there.

As I said earlier in this thread, it is nice to see Noel not rubbing it in too much when she dealt too early, and also nice to see the banker being fair with his proveout offers for once!!!

Enjoy the money, Leila.

Really enjoyed your show Leila, and well done for winning £11,000.
Despite the proveout, it could have gone wrong, and your mum wanted the best for you, although it's for you to decide how you want to spend the money! :D

It would be amusing to think that someone from the production company has actually been reading this forum and feeding back what we've been saying regarding the proveouts and the early deal criticisms!! Maybe we should start charging for our time and opinions?! Think of all the free advice they've been getting up til now...

As for Leila, she gives Emi a serious run for her money as my favourite contestant of all time. Hilarious, sweet and unassuming in equal measure. £11000 was a bit rubbish really, but you can get plenty of cider for that...
