Why was the offer £2,800? :? Surely it should've been £12,600 > £2,600?! I thought the penultimate offer was £12,800 at first - maybe the banker got confused like I did and that's why he offered £2,800 as the proveout final offer! :P
Understandable for the banker to get a bit confused, it's been a very stressful January
for him with those high payouts! :D

Aw that was a *beep* awesome game. I loved Peg and I love the big turnaround games. I'm almost certainly on my own here, but that was the best game of the week for me so far...well done Peg!

Because that's a multiple of 7.

If Bunney's game was the kind that you'll remember for months or even years to come, then Peg's was the kind that you want to see happen regularly. More games like that, and I'll start watching regularly again...

The start of February 2007 is certainly a stark contrast to the start of February 2006!

What happened at the start of February 2006 ?

Oh yes, I would just like to add, the guy sitting behind the woman who choose the box in today's viewer competition was hot! That is all.

I was saying today that I just wanted a normal game and today's was that. No ridiculous offers and a sensible deal (I'd have no dealt the £12,600).

Well, that was a pleasant surprise considering I fully expected a trainwreck (as usually happens after a massive win) - but £12,600 and a good OPW to boot is nothing to sniff at. It was actually quite a surprise to see sub-10k offers for a change! : )Peg had an unveniable task - not only did she have to play just after Bunney, she also had to replace Laura, so whatever she did would be poor in comparison, but good to see a normal game for once in a while! :)

And a great comedy moment with Millie at the break - I just knew she'd have the £75k after it was built up like that!

Congratulations Peg. I wouldn't have dealt and gone on to win £100. Well done for spotting when to stop.
