Ah, they don't make them like that anymore....

That had a lovely old-fashioned appeal to it - I was half expecting the break to contain the old Hovis advert with the kid pushing the bike up the hill. Or the Bisto family with them all sitting round at the table for Sunday dinner...

Just thought about what he said when he dealt - that the only way to ensure a better offer would be to keep £35k and £20k, a 10% chance. He was right in thinking it was unlikely, but surely £35k/£5k would give an increase over £12k, and a handsome one at that? I'd find anything less than £15k insulting on that pair, and would expect something quite close to £20k, I mean £5k is still a very good sum, a lot of people would no-deal!

Even £20k/£5k wouldn't be much worse than a stick either?
