Viewer competition : £75,000!!!

Kerry Pain sure won't be in financial pain now

P.S. It seems the contestant for the evening show will be selected by the production rather than the contestants as they don't know about it!

Jenny, well done on your £26,000 win - nice to see another outright player win after Wrighty's one yesterday! And you're one of the few female players so far this December to win a large amount! ;)

That's the first female OPW since Margaret, and the first this month!

What a great game. Jenny, you were really brave in carrying on with such a (literal ;)) all-or-peanuts game, and I'm so glad it paid off with a fantastic £26,000 win. I really hope that this luck continues for tonight's show!

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum...have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

Well done Jenny!

Turning down that £8k offer with only two higher values (and only one significantly higher) took a lot of courage, and it was good to see her rewarded with a big chunky offer! Is it just me, but if you deal and then the biggest value goes last box before the call, it seems better than if it goes first box, as the tension is increased? Or maybe it's because it's all the more painful the other way round, a la 1p Trevor.

And I think they must only bother doing the hypothetical swap when there's a bigger amount than the deal left in play! (so sadly we won;t get to see one on an all-blue last pair, that would be funny!) :)

First female OPW since Dawn I believe (seems an age ago now) - I think Margaret's game can be classed as an overall draw!

Aww that was a fantastic game...looked like it was going the way of Wendy's and Rachel's at the start but I'm so glad Jenny turned it around and got a great OPW, as she seemed really lovely. Wasn't keen on the "peanuts" thing, though; it just seemed a bit, well, naff.

I was thinking that about the hypothetical swap too, James...I'd love to see someone Deal, end up with a final two of something like £5/£10, and then insist on Noel swapping the boxes...

Welldone Jenny! Enjoy the money and have a great New Year!
