Well it's no surprise to me. His system is a pile of garbage. There has to be a big sum at the end of the East wing for it to work. :roll:

Really disappointing, he seemed to be a nice guy and he didn't deserve that.

Feel really sorry for Geordie, he has been a real character on the show and has helped loads of fellow contestants at crucial stages with his knowledge of stats and the likelyhood of hitting crucial numbers. It's a real shame that his game went so wrong

It's a totally random game, the 'strategy' bit is just to a) unsettle the Banker and b) settle you down so you don't ever wonder 'what if'.

It looked so good after three boxes too...

I'd have gone all the way too - the only decision that game was at £5k, and the odds were in his favour - 62.5% chance of keeping the £100k which would surely have earned him a five-figure offer.

Very, but £5k didn't look a great offer at the time, I think I would've played on too. Hindsight's a wonderful thing...

Ouch poor Geordie, that was a really harsh game! Lets hope whoever plays tomorrow has a better time of it

I really feel sorry for Geordie. He deserved MUCH more that £20 but it could have been even worse if he hadn't dealt at £20.

I've played a lot on the UK game of DoND. I played your game Geordie with the exact same numbers and you would have ended up with 50k, but never mind, £20 is better than 10p.

More kind words for Geordie, I don't think there has ever been a more anticipated appearence on a gameshow due to the fact that contestants take part for so long before appearing in the hot seat.

My partner and I watched the show from the off and Geordies level of support for each and every contestant was incredible. We couldn't wait for his chance and hoped he won the lot.
Whilst we were very dissapointed with the end result, we would both like to extend our thanks to Geordie for a very entertaining couple of weeks of TV. Cheers.
