Well done Mike. Totally understandable to deal when you did based upon your plans for the money and the fact that it was a very generous offer for the board, and another outright player win! :D

I enjoyed the game and watching Mike play, even while missing the start, as he really opened himself up during the game.

Again, regardless of what happened after the deal, I think it was the right deal for him, and he really needed the money, and that is better than pursuing more money for everyone else's entertainment.

Well done, and I'm glad you were able to win £26,500 for selfless needs, Mike. :)

Aw, I really enjoyed that game. Welldone Mike, the money obviously meant alot to you so I'm glad you dealt when you did. I probably would have dealt there too.

I don't usually like the swap but that was brilliant!

I think the £21,000 offer was a bit on the low side though. But it doesn't really matter, you still beat the banker! Yay! Enjoy the money! :D

Anyways, I didn't see todays game, and I have no idea who Mike was. (No suprises there...) But it sounded great. Well done Mike! Enjoy the cash!

Are you bonkers? I would never deal the first offer even if it was £250,000. You have to play the game.

I don't understand it when people say that...surely "playing the game" is trying to time it right and take the best offer available? Anyone can go to the end (and swap for Box 4  )...I'd argue that early Dealers "play the game" more than those who just go to the end regardless, as they've tried to judge the right point to go.

I dont think that Maud is the bonkers one somehow, You wouldnt really No Deal an offer of £250k and if you did they would have the men in white suits to escort you out of the studio!

No they wouldn't - because I wouldn't be offered that in the first place. But playing the game properly is taking it to the end. Like it should be played. Dealing is stopping the game you were playing.

Well, no, if that were the point of the game then they wouldn't bother making any offers in the first place...
