2 massive banker wins in 2 days, both with £15,000 deals. The wife pulled him out of that all the way, and he wouldn't have swapped again. And who's to say the banker would have offered £37,000?

Also, it's interesting how that crowd groaned a lot more with the 75k box on the table then they did with the 250k box.

Well played Ned winning £15,000 which was a very generous offer for the board that you had at the 5 box stage. Another thought, if you hadn't been able to swap you might have gone away with peanuts. :)

Banker was offering pretty high all game to be fair, and I think he favours players who actually take an early swap when they are offered it.

But it was a 1 box game and a big risk to keep going, though it would have been sorely tempting when only taking one box out at a time.

I nearly couldn't keep up with the game there at the end. Great game, though. :D

And £15,000 is still a very respectable amount of money, considering the board and just how precarious it was. Also, there were no guarantees that he would be able to get another chance to double the offer, so it was prudent to deal.

Anyway, enjoy £15,000 Ned, and well played. :D

Woo, crazy game...I normally hate all the random messing about with things, but I enjoyed that. (Especially as the way it turned out, the extra offers weren't especially relevant anyway.) The offers were pretty massive all game, really - can't blame Ned for Dealing when he did.

Unless you're maggie's husband - random messing about of things is sometimes good!
