Interesting hypothetical offer by the banker - quite a contrast to Lucy's £105k last week!

Mmm, I thought the Banker was being quite kind to her, there - he'd probably have made it a lot higher if she hadn't been so obviously distraught about it all.

He was rubbing it in a bit I thought. £15K is not to be sniffed at, I hope she enjoys it once she gets over her disappointment

It is interesting to note that Ingerlise's game was the first in the day to be filmed... so it will be firmly in the minds of whoever plays shows 2 and 3 of that recording day... I wonder if it will encourage whoever plays to gamble... perhaps it will be Ned? Tomorrow's and Tuesdays shows will be interesting to see how the players on those days react to that morning's game of Ingerlise's.

Well, it was more in line with the proveout offer of £60k with the 1p vs. £250k in play... although I think that was so low because the banker is obsessed by the sight of the 1p.

Oh no! First time since June the £250,000 makes an appearance, and it doesn't produce a big win :(

Never mind, £15,000 is still OK, but poor Ingerlise!

Any images from that game?

I'm afraid I'm a bit of a conspiracy theorist - and when Ingerlise name was called, alarm bells rang in my head! ;) :D

Never mind though, I'm sure it'll come again soon now it's finally made an appearance!

Poor Ingerlise though, was hard to watch at the end. And another £1 v 250,000 final two!

I agree. The banker does have some sort of heart after all. If she'd been a little less upset I imagine we'd have seen a ridiculous over-inflated six-figure offer.

It's happened five times now...of the nine people to bring the big one to the table, four had the £1 as the other box. Only Nancy did it the other way round.

I had a feeling she would have the 250k and she was kinda overdue a big amount (as she had that run of blues at the start)

Painful, painful, painful. She was incredibly emotional there - it was as if she was still in play and was left with only blues. :?

The £250k doesn't top the £1,000's record, either. :(

Just got in and watched the show having taped it earlier. It didn't seem like such a bad deal until the proveout. :(
I've always thought it's better for a contestant to show some
emotion as it draws the audience in to appreciate more fully
what the contestants have to go through!
I think most contestants who faced a board with 35K, 250K, and 3 blues
and an offer of £30,000 would deal. I'm glad the banker didn't offer an unrealistic proveout offer at the 2 box stage. I thought it would be about 90K, but 65K was about right. The wrong time for the 250K to come to the table if it's possible to say that! :?

I think it's going to take a player like Khanny, Lynne, John G, Morris or 1p Trevor to take the £250,000 to the table for it to get won - anyone as emotional as Ingerlise just HAD to deal on an unstable board (£15k was a generous offer for board I feel)!

I think the only person who's took it to the table who probably was enough of a gambler to do it was Germaine, indeed he got closer than anyone else did in going on till the final two, but he needed a better last remaining box than £1 to go for it! All the rest seemed to really need the money enough to have to deal the offers they got with it still in play!

As we saw with Morris, for some contestants £20,000 would be sufficient insurance to gamble. The odds of going to the final two with 250K and any of the rest of the Power 6 (20K upwards) are 2.16 % You would expect to see that around one in every 46 shows statistically. Of course if the banker pitches his offer low, then the contestant could gamble with 250K and any other amount in theory. The odds of reaching the final two with 250K and anything else are just 1 in 11. You would expect to see 250K in the final two at least once every 2 weeks statistically!! :D

Are any images of the latter stages of Ingerlise's game, and then the £250,000 moment available?

Cheers!
