I knew he'd have a mid red from the start.

Noel asks what everyone thought about the decision to deal, they all say it was a good one....

Noel opens box 15 and reveals £3,000 :(

Box 19 contains 1p

'That's the way the cookie crumbles' says Shahid and then thanks everyone for a fantastic time while on the show

Just for justice, choose 3 and have £1,000.

Number 2 chosen... £3,000. Irony written all over it. The 1k was in 3.

Who the hell are you and what have you done with wakey??

What a rubbish game...I really liked Shahid, and wish he'd done a lot better than the joint-fourth lowest ever Deal. :( I think I'd have won either £10k or £3k - not sure what I'd have done at the £10k, but I'd definitely have gambled the last offer as I couldn't care less about joining the 1p club.

That was a rubbish game. I thought the £10,000 offer was ridiculously generous. I'd have definitely dealt, although it's easy to say things like that with hindsight.

Clutching at straws but:

1. He didn't join the 1p club
2. He won £1,000. I wouldn't mind being given that in a lump sum for opening some boxes.

Disappointing game... you could tell it wasn't going to get going from the start.

Never mind - £1,000 is definitely better than nothing.

By the way, love the sig, Banker!

What an awful game. At least he didn't win 1p, though.

Actually I agree with that, it was brave to turn down 10K, and sensible not to risk becoming part of the 1p club. £1,000 was a good offer. Well done
Shahid sorry it wasn't more for you, but 52 contestants have left with less money than that!

Off topic - but am I the only person in thinking the maths is a little wrong here?

it was very brave turning down £10,000 but you were there to gamble so well done Shed! it was right to deal at £1,000 it's not worth risking for 1p

....recovers from fainting after seeing Wakey encouraging someone to deal! ;-)

Actually I agree - he was a great contestant and had a wonderful attitude to the game, it just seemed that every round had at least one kick in the nuts to it, just as he seemed to be turning things around! And it's been a while since someone's managed to AVOID the 1p - the day after someone avoids the £250,000!!

I'd have taken the £10k without thinking but he wouldn't have been true to himself dealing so good on him for going for it, you can't fault his courage! £1k was a great offer at the last pair, I expected something insulting like £300. Seeing him deal then not have the 1p all along was horrible, just like Jason all over again, but in all truth, in utility terms £1k is better than 1p by more than £3k is better than £1k. It wasn't as though he was missing out of anything life-changing!

Now PLEASE can someone I like win a huge sum (and beat the banker to boot, as Lucy's game was still a TBW)? :)

Any game where the player deals the lowest offer available to them in the whole game is never going to be a classic, but I thought he handled the disappointment pretty well.

I wanted him to play with Box 7 so that various puns could be made on the 'Shed Seven' theme (an old indie band of the 90's for those too young or too old to remember) but alas it was not to be...

I wish he had as well, given that it contained £35k....
