What's ironic about it?

Mark on November 1st 2005 won £9,900 so definitely an improvement there! :)

Another Mark played this time last year. That's why.

Yes, well done Mark, enjoy the £23k, and nice to see an OPW, which is a rarity these days...

I was just thinking about the irony of two Marks too, even before reading this thread :D

Great deal at £23,000! :D

Glad it's an amount not many people (if not none) have won before - I dislike when the banker offers an amount lots of people have won before (eg £20,000 or £10,000 ).

:D

It's definitely been won at least once before, by June, but I think she was the only one.

Well that was rather good wasn't it?

I'm glad, we needed a good game after Lee and Spiky. Hopefully Lisa should get her £1k as well, which would also mean Mark gets £22k, which is the same as the Mark he replaced! :)

And the curse of games on Wednesday 1st has gone as well (remember Geordie and Trevor)!

Oh, and I thought that the £23k was a very good offer for the boord, I was expecting yet another £13k, it would (I think) have been the first time that four offers in a game were the same amount!

£23kwas a very good offer in my opinion, I was expecting a LOT less to make him carry on. Perhaps the banker's tactics are changing again?

Has anyone received the same offer 3 times in a game, as Mark did yesterday?

I can confirm Fadil did, and also Vic was offered £9,000 3 times in a row.

How do you people remember so much about the shows that have gone before... I'm struggling to remember who played this time last week, let alone what offers were received in some far flung distant game!

Back on to the matter in hand, I got back just in time to see the end of this game on More4. Mark played it perfectly by the look of the last 10 minutes I saw. Nice to see him win a decent amount. All the better if it was an OPW too!

I have that sort of memory!

But trust me, Daniel4389's a lot better at it then I am! ;)

I remember the older games better than I do the recent ones, for some reason. :? Give me a date in March and I can instantly tell you who played, but give me one from October and I'll have to think about it. (Only for a few moments, mind. ;) )
