Interesting perception by the banker. Admittedly, I think there's more to the £19,000 offer than the way Mark opens the boxes, but what has he seen that would make him take the offer?

11 boxes left

Average: £38,965
Offer: £19,000 (highest £19,000)
Offer (%): 48.76 (highest 48.76)

2 box median: £15,000
Fair deal: £16,865

Highest future average: £46,076 (8 boxes left)
Risk of collapse: 27%

Hmmmmm, thought that £19k offer was quite low, actually - I was expecting £20k+, given the offers the Banker's been making lately.

Also, I love Mark's girlfriend/wife/whatever....she's so sweet!

Mark says that's a dent, but it's not the top one. Noel talks about the very long absence of the £250,000 on the pound table. Noel tells the banker to calm down and it's all about Steve!!! He wasn't happy with Steve's comment that the banker couldn't read Mark. The banker talks about his pal Howard and how much he likes him, he says Howard will get the highest ever opening offer when he plays!!!!

Banker offers

£13,000

Mark says that's a fair offer. Noel goes to Steve who says it's a fair offer, he then goes to Howard who says 'you know I won't say anything other than it's a good offer' :P

Mark says

NO DEAL

Noel calls it an all or peanuts game now with the £250,000 very isolated with £5,000 and £3,000 as it's backup. Noel wonders where the banker will pitch his offer. The banker says that this is a respectful offer and advises to take it

Banker offers

£23,000

Mark says it's a great offer and is struggling with what to do as if the £250,000 goes it's all over. Noel says that the banker could have an incredible victory if Mark takes the £23,000 and then has the £250,000 in his box..... Mark is taking his time over the decision, Noel tells everyone that the banker is sat in his office loving this as he is giving the gambler a tough choice....

Mark is ready and says

DEAL

£23,000 is by no means a great or fabulous offer. It is a reasonable offer because of the risk involved, but not a great one, and should be treated accordingly.

As he is thinking about it for a long time, I think he should deal. But, if he plays on, I have confidence in his ability to win. Hope he makes the right choice.

5 boxes left

Average: £51,720
Offer: £23,000 (highest £23,000)
Offer (%): 44.36 (highest 48.76)

2 box median: £3,375
Fair deal: £17,310

Risk of collapse: 60%
