Noel points out the strong position Trev is in with the top 3 values still in play. The banker asks if Trev can remember any of the numbers in the quickie round....

Banker offers

£20,000

Trev's second box in the quickie round

Trev says that is a very generous offer and asks for a minute to think of his answer.

£20,000 is a good amount of money. The board is strong, and if he plays on, he has good expectations.

I'm not sure if he should, considering the circumstances, but he has decided to.

11 boxes left

Average: £41,127
Offer: £20,000 (highest £20,000)
Offer (%): 48.63 (highest 48.63)

2 box median: £22,750
Fair deal: £16,470

Highest future average: £45,175 (8 boxes left)
Risk of collapse: 27%

That's a pretty low third offer with the top 3 values still in play. I would no deal here.

Next round

19 - £750 big cheers for the blue

21 - £100 more cheers and the audience go wild :P

Noel builds up the tension for a third blue and then calls a break

His way of choosing the boxes with guidance from another force is working.

Crazyeddie,

How do you work out the highest future average? It doesn't seem to be the average if the player takes out the lowest three amounts in the next round... which is what I thought it would be. Is it something else?

Thanks! :)

No need for them to rub it in about losing the £250,000 and saying what the offer would have been!

Ouch. The board is still strong, even with the setback. I think he should play on, because of the high values still in play.

Offer (%): 55.57 (highest 55.57)

2 box median: £10,250
Fair deal: £11,944

Highest future average: £23,255 (5 boxes left)
Risk of collapse: 21%
