Noel wonders where this next offer will go - up, down or stick. Helen says that she will be bringing her husband down to the pound table now - Noel disappears off set to get him a chair :-D

The banker is still worried and thinks that Helen is a player and will go all the way.....

Banker offers

£16,006

If she turns down £16,006 then she's worse than Player 14 - there are NO safety nets, £3k is not a safety net!

Going up? I'd say the offer will be £10,006...

£16,006 surprises me. An easy deal I'd say here.

5 boxes left

Average: £20,900
Offer: £16,006 (highest £16,006)
Offer (%): 76.58 (highest 76.58 )

2 box median: £1,875
Fair deal: £7,228

Risk of collapse: 60%

Helen asks the audience to stand up if they would DEAL, most do although a few shout out NO DEAL.

Noel still mentions the history of box 6 and it's 1p fate and the fact that the 1p is still in play

Helen says

DEAL

I'd have won £250,000!

They should have bought Khanny out today.

Absolutely fantastic Helen! You escaped the 1p club, and only the third person to have the 1p box but sell it for a much higher sum of money. Well done Helen, you really deserve it!

Urgh. I'm very happy for Helen - she seemed like a lovely lady, and that's the first time I've ever seen someone actually sell the 1p! But the offers were stupid...offering £16,006 made absolutely no sense at all. Other people have been offered half that in similar situations - Lindsay and Sarah are the most recent examples. It pisses me off that the offers are so inconsistent - I don't want them to be cruelly low, but they shouldn't be that ridiculously high.

Still, well done to Helen - the offers weren't her "fault", and she did very well to be the first person to sell the 1p in about 8 months!

Well done Helen. Good game.

Dan- I see what you mean about the offer. I thought it was rather generous.

In the early days, early offers were crap, i.e Shell and Lyndsay, but later offers were huge, i.e Jennifer and Mally.

Nowadays, early offers are rediculously high, i.e Aaron and Linda E, and later offers are crap, i.e Paul and Sharron.
