Rob in december did something similar, and managed to pull £10,000 out of it. Although the best turnaround should go to Marie or Gaz.

Rob did remove the top five in the first seven boxes, but not in successive boxes, interspersed with the 10p and £500.

I don't think that Gaz qualifies as a good turnaround. Sure, he had a bad first box, but I think to be a good turnaround, you need to not only have a very BAD start, but a very GOOD end. Just having one of those doesn't really qualify.

I think Marie had the BIGGEST turnaround; but perhaps the worst, rather than the best.

Thanks for those stats, they show an unusually high amount of contestants who had the blue/£20,000 as their final two boxes, and it certainly shows some degree of the banker being consistent in his offers, at least there anyway!

Mark got the highest out the lot, in active play! Just proves the banker was very good then, more for the endish rounds. Other way round now!

I have to say, coupled with the highlight of seeing my favourite box out there again, that was a fabulous show.

Mreh, I didn't really like Ottis that much, he was a bit annoying >_<

I caught the M4 repeat from the 2nd part onwards, just when the 250k was knocked out. Was a harsh game for him but at least he got £7,000.

PAUL HAD NEW HAIR AND I LOVED IT.

Err, it was the first show back after their week break in recording, and that was, oh, Friday's episode.

What I do remember from Ron's bad round 2 is that he took out 35k, 75k and 250k, yet he still came back to eventually win 20k, with a blue/20k final two.

Even tho Ottis didn't have the 20k, still he managed to recover to win 7k.

Well done Ottis and you deserve every penny of that 7k!

From unpromising beginnings, that turned out to be one of the more entertaining games!

I noticed that the other players were in hysterics most of the time - am assuming that they were laughing with him and not at him... :-D

Nice to see Noel going for the deckchair look again...

Ron's first round was a lot better than ottis' though. And Ron was also one box away from a £100k/£20k final pair if he'd picked the other remaining box :(

He probably would have no-dealt the offer and still ended up with £20k, so we were happier the way it happened! :)

Sharron also had it in the last game before the break and then the first game after the break, which technically counts as twice in a row! I want someone to have it three times in a row...or in every single game. Hey, it could happen...
