Aww, but Helen's box openings are great!

This is the first episode of DOND I've seen since Lyndsay's repeat on August 4th, due to being on holiday. I did get Adrienne, Play...ah, stuff it, Madie, and Jan's games, though, as I set the video while I was away (could record the first few shows to fill up the tape) but for some reason instead of Jayne's game I got 45 minutes of The Six O Clock News on BBC One. Similar problems meant that I'll have to record the More4 +1 repeat of today's game, as the picture froze for about 30 seconds during the first half.

Certainly lots of change in those two weeks, I see, though Noel's still explaning the rules at every opportunity, still getting excited at £4,000 opening offers, and the audience are still 'Aww!'ing at Noel's break links. Pretty soon it'd just be silence, then bemused clappings.

 I want to watch it!!! Stupid non-More 4-having Welsh households. I've set the tape though, like the sad *beep* I am, so I can watch four games when I get home!

"No one has ever won 1p" - ah, those were the days.

Blimey, this game is good. Noel's said "This is the best game we've ever had!" about 20 times now. In fact, Noel's in super-weird mode today, peering over contestants heads and stuff.

Although it did always seem to be a jinx that if Noel said something like that, it would immediately go horribly, horribly wrong.

And £100k is revealed immediately after my last post.

Well, she won £20,000...despite Noel going on how she beat the banker, she technically didn't as she could have won £24,000, but still a good result. All the games I've seen so far I remember watching on their original showing, but I know there's quite a few around early December I missed, including John's...so there'll at least be one DOND I've never seen before. At the time, of course, More4 didn't repeat the shows.

Just a question - who invented "I'm ready for the question/Ask me the question"? The first person I remember using it was Geordie, but I'm sure it was in use before then.
