The perfect round!!!!!! but Pierre has already dealt for the lowest offer of the day so far :(

I'm not going to mince my words - what a prat! The odds were heavily stacked in favour of an all blue round. He dealt at the lowest offer! Even though he only had £10 in his box, he's made himself look like a fool.

And to conclude, Pierre beat the Banker but missed out on some big money offers, and no doubt the Banker will claim that to his advantage.

Not the best of games, but there's still more to follow this week

I'm off now to cook my dinner, unlike Rita I prefer to wait until the programme's finished as opposed to cooking my dinner during the programme :-D

Thank you and goodnight :D

Ouch. I wasn't too keen on Pierre, but I had to feel sorry for him having such bad luck and taking the lowest offer... I don't think he "made himself look like an idiot", though - he had a nasty fourth round and there was good chance of being left with *beep* all if he'd gone on. He just had the wrong luck at the wrong times! I'd have taken the first £24k...and the second £24k...and I don't think I'd have taken the £7k, but I can see why he did. At least he got more than his box!

Not quite. There was a 35.7% chance of an all-blue round there, in other words a 64.3% chance of hitting at least one. Best-case scenario there is four blues and £100k, and the Banker would probably have taken the opportunity to be evil and stick (at best) there. Also there was a 10.7% chance of an all-blue final five.

Personally I'd have gone at the third offer, maybe even the second.

;) I don't blame Pierre at all for taking the £7000 - especially the way he was taking out red after red after red. Although I'm probably biased as he could have done no wrong in my eyes - he was the cutest contestant since Rich!

I'd have definitely dealt at £24K - I only saw the first round, had to go out after that, so thanx guys for your commentary.

Pierre seems like the kind of guy who has a lot going for him in life, so he shouldn't be too disappointed. I would have taken the £24,000 offer because the odds were 66% odds on that he would hit at least one of the exposed Power 3 that he still had at that stage. In hitting the 250K, it was always likely to be an uphill struggle to repeat that offer. It's understandable he took the £7,000 because he only had a 36% chance of keeping the £75K and £100K still in play at that stage, and there is a danger of chasing the game and going away with peanuts.

With reds being taken out, I would've gone for £24,000 but I was thinking Pierre was going to no deal to that offer.

Well done Pierre anyway

Yeah, well done Pierre for your £7k. I can quite see why he said deal to that, though - it was too risky going on, and possibly ending up with "peanuts" or near nothing. Mind you, I thought Lance's advice was excellent. However, I would definitely have dealt at the first £24k offer.
