It's been fifty-three days and eleven years #rejectedsonglyrics

That's how long since episode 1 led out of the first post-Whiteley Countdown (yes, it's that long). Now, leading out of "Coast vs Country" for what it's worth, it's the final episode of Deal or No Deal on Channel 4.

Greeted by bagpipes, Noel introduces the VT. Vicky is the contestant, and she trains guide dogs. She also mentions having had lots of big money on the wings #markwatch.

It's apparently the biggest live audience the show has ever had. Which just goes to show how capacitous Paintworks wasn't.

Confirmed, dog care assistant from Arbroath.

Obligatory pictures. Has mentioned wanting to have enough money to buy a Highland cow. Apparently got onto the housing ladder because her parents remortgaged their house to let her buy a cash-buyers-only house.

Picking her own box because she can and must, first to come to her head was BOX 1 held by Lisa.

The other 21 were also sealed by the independent adjudicator, etc etc. LET'S GET MO(O)VING!

There were a fair amount of people in the ballroom in Blackpool. There doesn't seem to be much more in the audience here.

But who am I to argue with a numerical statement Mr Edmonds makes.

Box 10 (Tania) - £10. Fitting! And not bad for the first one to come to mind. No system here.

Box 6 (Dean, a school friend) - £3,000. There was a very slight delay applauding that.

Box 11 (Mandy, colleague) - £5

Look how much conversation there isn't!

Box 9 (Lauren) - £5,000

Box 8 (Alison) - £1,000.

Banker time after the best three-red round you will ever see!

The 2,989th and final show. Shame they couldn't get another 11 out. So close to 3,000! :(

"What a tour it's been," the Banker says. He adds that they know how to do Christmas in Scotland. Surely that's New Year they specialise in?

Predictable "stupid cow" joke, the show going out the way it went in.

She held £1.3m in 17 games on the wings.

BANKER'S OFFER

£12,000

And there were 11 players stranded without playing!

It's a NO DEAL and we go to the break at 4:08...

I would've been slightly tempted to take that to end the show's run with a 1st offer Deal. I'd probably go on, though. ;)

There were also quite a few players in the couples weeks who never got to play (and some who took part in second-chance week who went twice to Bristol and never got to play)

The old skew of the remaining 200k viewers is summed up by the HSL chair sponsorship.

We're back with Noel shouting over the crowd that she turned down £12k.

Box 17 (Stuart) - 50p.

For winter in Scotland, there's amazingly little padding.

Box 12 (John) - £100.

Noel is now getting unnervingly excited. The Banker phones up to possibly stop the momentum... yup, basically exactly that.

What's with the organist? Jim is going to play sinister music for this one. He played the theme on our way into that opening break.

Only got a few bars of it... then it repeats after Noel went "is that all?"

Box 20 (Amy) - £250

Backfired. ALL-BLUE ROUND!

If he offers £20,000+ here I might be tempted to take it.

Quoting Stephen/Gizensha: "Well, the Banker got the start of the number he wanted."

Heavy breathing already. She's caring and therefore an enemy of the Banker. He "bought his own Highland Cow... it was delicious."

They cost around £1k each apparently.

BANKER'S OFFER

£20,000

Already dealable.

Already shrugged off, at least in this edit - NO DEAL.
