This game also brought back ultra-generous gimmick related offers. The last time there was one (and no, I'm not counting silly little gimmicks that raised low 2nd offers an extra £250-£2,000) was in Lydon's game last May where he could of doubled his second offer of £6,312 had he eaten a plate of smelly prawns that Miss Payment brought out. He nearly dealt at that point as well! Plus, look at the 11 box stats:

11 box offer: £15,000
Deal-Eye Benchmark: £6,534.54 (230%)
Mean: £19,309.59 (78%)
Fair Deal: £6,380.46 (235%)

The last time the Banker offered more than 78% of the mean at 11 box was in Show 1,999 Noel's game, and the last time he was willing to offer over 235% of the Fair Deal at 11 box was in Show 2,001 Scott's game, and they were two of the biggest OHOs ever on the show (Scott went on to decline £25,250 on a £500/£50,000 finish ). I don't see how a piece of facial hair that someone could someone grow back out in a few weeks would be worth £10,000 to anyone, and if Chris seriously considered dealing that £5,000 8 box offer after an average round from his 11 box board, Chris should of swallowed up his pride and dealt that £15,000 the Banker was willing to offer at 11 box.

But Chris was an idiot, so he failed to see sense and declined that offer.

He is most definitely not smarter than a fifth grader.
