She probably would've won it even if she want the other way at 3 box as the Banker probably would've offered £10,005. :smt011 :smt019

Which she would've turned down and won £5 anyway, horrifying the wingers.

And it's money back, and she's gutted. :( She's taking it OK though. :smt023

No greed = No being gutted. Also, you are not supposed to take a five-dollar win well. It's sickening.

I predicted failure, and was right. I didn't want to be, but I was anyway.

I've seen many blue wins taken well. Some blue winners have taken their fate much better than those who've dealt £20,000+ sums and undersold the Jackpot! (Donna and £70k Paul come to mind)

I've always said players who are going to risk take must be prepared for the worst. Leanne was, whereas Peter from last month clearly wasn't, and took his resultant crash horribly. :( :smt009

I once read a story about someone who failed on another international version some years ago. They appeared to take it well in the studio, thanks to the magic of editing and whatnot. But what happened afterwards was one of the most shocking things I'd ever heard.

I don't feel comfortable repeating it here, because I don't want to offend anyone. But after reading that story, I really wished I hadn't read it. Definitely some tragic stuff.

I found it difficult to believe that 19 of the 21 wing players
would have no dealt the 12K 8 box offer given how many times
we've seen similar configurations fall apart!

Not the worst decision in the world to no deal at 8-box but sadly the QM went and the Banker went back into rubbish offer mode.

I loved hearing Noel saying that line that it feels like the boxes are punishing players  Not much ever changes in the game although I admit to being late to the party with this box23 gimmick. A clever gambling element to keep hope alive for blue winners. I also notice the phone-in comp is back (that may mean the prize fund increases, along with the offers).

As to the player, I'm not sure whether she wore red tinted specs or it was just plain greed. I thought the £12k offer was certainly dealable to someone needing the cash.

She took a blue win well? Well to quote a recent retweet by erstwhile member Moxx of Balhoom, "Never let success get to your head, and never let failure get to your heart."

*Takes straw out of bleach bottle, puts them away and stumbles off*
