Forget Welsh women, it's Yorkshire men that have been the Banker's nemesis this week.

Perfectly played game and certainly Roop's game meant that Giulio got far better offers late in the game today as he couldn't take the risk of it happening again.

Definitely! Unlike Suzanne's week, the Jackpot win was not accompanied by any contentious deals, and we got another Power 5 as well! Plus, this week is the third highest weekly payout on record! :D :smt023

People may say that Roop was given "poor offers" But like KP said, they were offers which would have been justifiably taken, thanks to his board.. Let's hope we get more great games :smt023

Great game to round off the week. Boards this week have been precarious at best and lame at worst, and Giulio's board trod a fine line between both. 4-box was the turning point - a lot of players would have dealt there due to the sheer volatility, but Giulio showed just the right amount of determination to get the banker worried. £35k would have been a good result whatever was in the box, and for it to be swiftly vindicated both by the last box of the round and box 23 was the icing!

Some very good points made by Rich in the last round I thought. Box 9 didn't have to contain a large sum for it to be lucky - it helped give Giulio the determination to press ahead and that was why he got such a good 3-box offer. Well played all round!

BRILLIANT play by Giulio today, and a VERY deserved Banker Spanking. :smt023 :smt023 :smt023 :smt041 :smt041 :smt041

He had the GUTS to turn down derisory yet chunky offers on a precarious board, and did so in a way that got him a generous 3 box offer that he sensibly dealt for a spanking. :-D :smt023 Ironic that all the men who played this week got OPWs of £26,000+ while all the women got OBWs of £3,000 or less. ;)

Also, I'm glad every glad every contestant this week had the GUT needed to go to 5 box, making this the first 5 box twist week since October 2010 where no one dealt before 5 box. :D :smt023

I think a combination of poor banker offers before 5-box and the fact that the producers have realised that twists need actually to be doable (this actually seems to have been one of the easier ones they have done as the target was fairly big) helped.

Exactly. This was a good twist, not something near impossible like the Gold Medal Deal catapult, or that weird Christmas obstacle course.
