Ah yes, yet another deal with everyone immediately jumping on the "OMG WTF WHY DID SHE DEAL THAT OFFER WAS CRAP" boat, ending up epically vindicated, to the eyerolls of people who still feel that was the wrong decision.

I am very happy with today's game and give Beverley two thumbs up for her OPW. :smt023 :smt023

As I said, 4/4 boards are difficult to play. Especially ones with the £250k so although I would have gone on today at 8-box, I can see why she dealt.

To be honest, I'd rather have players winning decent amounts of money than having the last fe weeks filled with OHOs who ended up with blues.

Well I thought that was a great game.

Yes I accept that the board at 8 box was worth more than £26k but Beverley's decision to deal was completely vindicated in proveout and isn't the objective of the game to take as much of the Banker's money as possible? In that respect Beverley did exactly the right thing and i applaud her for that

Well I think she was quite a measured player. Imagine how differently Donna and Beverley would have reacted if their proveouts had been swapped. I doubt Beverley would have been in tears and blaming others. Hard to say if Noel would have been rubbing it in so much in this game as he did in Donnas. I think those on the forum would have had more to say on a 'dream finish' proveout :P
