Well, she got the consolation sum at the end there, but that game was just unlucky from the off. Just a shame that the run of good fortune we've had since last Sunday had to end like this. :(

What was up with the tv guide scheduling? Is it a new thing to make life interesting for those of us who watch the clock?

I'm not sure if people are complaining about the offers being unfair or that the offers are low. If it's the latter, well, what do you expect with 3 reds at 11-box and only the £100,000 left in play? If it's the former... well, "fairness" of the offers is arguable. But as Charles put it, £1,500 at 8-box with 7 blues left is fairly okay, especially since the highest blue was £500, one-third of the offer. Take out the £100,000 and the best you can expect is £500 in the box.

...which is exactly what happened today. Oh well, £500 is still quite a nice bit of money, and if I were to win it I'd be able to buy a few things I've put off due to worrying about making sure I have enough money this summer. So, there's that.

Most of these "65-minute" episodes are actually 60-minute episodes where the advertising minutes have been tweaked. Nice trick to make almost everyone on this forum believe the £100k was going to survive longer though, and I'm not sure quite what happened at the end.

Not a good game, anyway.

Well the luck had to run out sooner or later but I don't think any of would have predicted it would do so in quite such a cruel and spectaclular way. Phyllis was just incapable of producing an all blue round. It was lucky perhaps she at least had a high blue in her box.
