Alan's game today.

Noel claims deep thinking and humour are a big part of the show; we see a repeat of Kirsty's unintentional humour from yesterday.

Would be very interesting to see another player go to 2 box again today, hopefully with two better sums though.

Alan has Box 17 today.

Alan Price, from Oldham, originally Liverpool, an environmentalist specialising in ponds! He and Noel have a chat about the differences between ponds and lakes! He has a picture of his family on holiday, which he tells a (rather long) story about. He is on the show in order to get money for a family holiday, something he hasn't been able to have for a while.

Here we go...

Alan is a friend of mine's ex-husband's brother in law (and no, I have no idea what happens in his game)

Nope. Alan's wife is the sister of a guy my friend used to be married to.

Round 1

Alan tries to tell some more stories; Noel reminds him it's a one hour show! (Not this week, it's not! ) Noel gets so fed up, he goes backstage, produces some pillows and a blankett, and has a nap! ;) Alan tries to sing him to sleep!

Box 13 with Jainaba - £35,000

That's not what I wanted, says Alan.

Box 5 with Dave - £10,000

Box 1 with Lyanne - £5,000

Unusually large groans for that.

Box 14 with Jen - £250,000  :(

Noel says we've not had an all-red opening round for a while.

Box 10 with Kirsty - £5 :D

Banker time...

Is there any particular reason today's show is 50 minutes?

The Banker says it was worth the wait! He claims Tommy has written a song called 'The Show is Only an Hour Long'! Tommy agrees to sing it later on!

Banker's offer:

£2,000

Noel says he's seen worse. Alan says an offer like that encourages him to go on.

Alan says:

NO DEAL

Noel calls a break...

Because Cheltenham racing has been on this week so DOND and Come Dine With Me are both 50 minutes to fit in the schedule.

Normal service resumes on Monday.
