Josephine's game today.

Noel talks about Abbi's game yesterday, and how she was influenced to deal by a good luck message from her grandfather. We also see a replay of the lights being bought down, which happens again!

Josephine has Box 10 today.

Josephine Gyke, from Plymouth, a retired seamstress. She has bought some pasties with her, one for Noel and another for the Banker, which is sent through to him. She tells of where her interest in making pasties originated from. She also has a photo of herself using an improvised dumbbell! Her son Paul and his wife Debbie are in the audience for support.

Here we go...

Round 1

Box 3 with Kia - £5,000

Hesitant applause for that.

Box 19 with Woody - 10p

Another low sum from Woody! Noel asks if he's ever had anything higher than 50p! (Statsmen?)

Noel says Phil is a cross between the Mitchell brothers, and Mavis from Corrie! Phil then does his clown laugh!

Box 9 with Phil - £100

Charlie is feeling a lot better today. :D

Box 18 with Charlie - 50p

Noel wonders if this will be the first really potent opening round for a long time.

Box 16 with Joey - £3,000

Banker time...

You gotta be pleased with that, says Noel. The Banker asks what the green stuff in his pastie was! :eyes:  Josephine claims to have made the pasties two weeks ago! Noel claims the Banker won't be feeling funny for a while yet!

Banker's offer:

£13,000

Noel asks if anyone wants his pastie! He then claims it is actually moving! He then disposes of it by smacking it with his book!

Josephine answers the question before Noel asks it!

Josephine says:

NO DEAL

Noel calls a break...

I've devised a new metric for valuing a board, which is still in the refinement phase. It's called the "Model RC (T)", and it's basically this: reduce the board values by whatever income tax you'd pay on it if it was your annual salary, take the average of the mean and FD based on *those* values, and reduce anything above £20k by 20% (so if the mean/FD average was £80k you'd reduce it by 20% of £60k, or £12k, to make it £68k).

It's at £18,330.39 after that start.

Noel isn't too bothered by that due to the strong start. The Banker is now rather ill; he says the on-site toilet facilities will be out of action for a while. :eyes:  He is then heard moaning down the phone!

Banker's offer:

£13,500

Josephine says that's a good offer. Noel says many have tried to bribe the Banker with foodstuffs, but no-one has tried to poison him before!

Josephine says:

NO DEAL

Round 3

Box 5 with Laura - £250

Noel is frightened to say anything, as it's so good! He does manage some more sick jokes though! ;)

Box 13 with Kerrie - £10,000

Noel is happy with that.

Josephine picks Hannah next, but Noel calls a break first...

We're back...

Noel has now unwrapped his pastie. He thinks Josephine is in the money, never mind what happens, as the MoD have placed an order for some more lethal pasties!

Final box before the Banker...

Box 1 with Hannah - £75,000

Banker time...

Noel says the strong opening may stop a crash. The Banker didn't think we'd see any more firsts after nearly eight years, but this is the first time he's made an offer on his mobile while on the loo! Cue another sick joke! ;)

Banker's offer:

£12,222
