Abbi says the poem influenced her to deal at £8,000.

Banker confesses that he is not really 28 and swapped the numbers over.
Banker throws in a dinner for 2 (where? :ponder: ).

I think Rachel was the newbie today. Noel didn't mention anything about that.

You remember back in school, when you opted to compete in an activity before realising it was something really ardous and time consuming - you'd feign an illness to remove yourself from having to perform in the activity.

This, I believe, is what Charlie acted out today. He's suddenly realised that this logic dodging, common sense vacumn of a programme is the TV game show equivalent of the dire school activity that you're now stuck into completing. Unless you *come down* with something to prevent you doing so.

Well played, Charlie.

At least the Banker didn't make inflated proveout offers today. Even £20k was rubbish for the board.

Cautious deal but you'd expect to hit one of the top 2 about 64% of the time and the offer wouldn't have increased by more than about £4k, I reckon.

£20k seems about right and would have been a tougher decision than the £8k for me.

She was, (that was Margaret's former spot on the West Wing - and besides, she's pretty, So of course i noticed) and I think Noel did make a passing reference to the fact bedore going into the viaduct story*

Anyway, I liked Abbi, lovely girl and relatively local - in fact I'm pretty sure I've been in the dept store she works at, though not for many, many years. She was always going to be a fairly cautious dealer, but that card from the Banker was a sly trick to force her hand I thought. At least she made a healthy profit on her box even if it was nowhere near a spanking

*That's an old Marx Brothers routine actually 'I don'ta know Via Duck?' :-D
