Steve's game today.

Noel has calmed down now, and has got over Abi's game yesterday. He tells of how Abi was driving him so mad, he nearly walked out!

Steve has Box 10 today.

Steve Chatterton, from Barnetby in Lincolnshire, a sales rep for a stationary company, and known as 'Frank Spencer' due to his occasional accent! His wife Laura is in the audience for support; she says Steve is not very good with machines, and they often fall apart when he touches them! Steve has a photo of his wife and children, and another of him dressed as a headmistress for a party!

That's not the opening you dream about, says Noel. The Banker says Steve is the most accident prone man in Britain! He talks about Steve's dressing up as a headmistress, and shows a picture of Noel doing likewise in School's Out week!

Already a dangerous board. I think the Banker will lowball the next two offers even if the £75k and £250k survive that far.

The way the opening round has gone... can't seeing it being a big money game.

Steve says the first round was just a blip.

The £50 refuses to go away from the board. Noel says Steve has broken it! It eventually goes after Noel fiddles with the lights!

Steve says that has made it easier, in a way. He says it would go one way or another.

And that £75,000 is what he had yesterday...

You could believe that was scripted, says Noel. Cue the laughter from the Banker, and the boos from everyone else! Noel rejects a cheesy nibble for the umpteenth time!

I think we've had a £20k-high board at 14-box before, I just can't remember when - it was years ago, I know that! The name Otis rings a vague bell.

This is surely the worst start of 2013.

They should just give Steve his five bucks and call it a day. I can't forsee a significant win happening today, especially with almost every worthwhile amount wiped out within the first two rounds.

Round 3

Steve says you have to be positive. Steve's wife comes down from the audience briefly. Noel goes to Jean for some advice on what to do to be positive. Myyles says Steve should slow down, as he rushed the first two rounds.

This is better, says Noel. He says things are better now that everyone is being more positive. Irene thinks she has the 50p, but she hopes it's the 1p!
