Kristy's game today.

Noel welcomes us to the final Christmas special. He says we've had a variety of games; we see a montage of the games so far.

And when she got that phone call, she never imagined she'd be sitting in the chair dressed as a carrot!

I was kinda hoping they'd pick Paulina, her outfit suits her a lot better.

Kristy has Box 16 today.

Kristy O'Brien, from Portsmouth (which Abi still thinks is in Wales! ); she works for a stockroom in a clothes shop. She tells of how she found out she was going on the show over the tannoy system at work! She has two cupcakes with little red boxes on top, one for Noel and one for the Banker. She has a photo of her children, and her partner is in the audience.

Here we go...

Should've seen it coming really though, in these Christmas specials we've now had a Kris and a Kristy!

Round 1

Kristy's motto is 'just go with it', which she got from a Jennifer Anniston film.

Box 17 with Ryan - £500

Box 3 with Paulina - £750

Box 5 with Abi - £5

Noel wonders if we'll have a second all-blue round in a row. He doesn't think we've had that happen before. (Statsmen?)

Box 20 with Myyles - £35,000

Box 13 with Joyce - £1,000

Banker time...

I think you should be very happy with that, says Noel. The Banker thanks Kristy for the cake. He thinks Kristy could be trouble if she gets the right board.

Banker's offer:

£8,000

We're back...

Round 2

Noel reveals that Kristy has stolen cupcakes, run off in her underwear, and closed a road in Portsmouth! Kristy said it was her dog, not her!

Box 1 with Gary - £3,000

Box 19 with Jean - £10,000

Box 18 with Waraporn - £250,000 :(

Banker time...

What a very big shame, says Noel; he fancied a big win for the final Christmas special. The Banker says it is always a relief for him when the Jackpot goes so early.

Banker's offer:

£4,000

According to Psychokiller's list, Noel is actually right

viewtopic.php?p=766745#p766745

Nearest was December 2010, when we had 2 all-blue rounds within 3 days and 2 all-red rounds within 3 days (each with a gap between the two)

Kristy says, when you haven't got anything, something is everything; she says £4,000 is still a lot of money to her and her family.

Kristy says:

NO DEAL

Round 3

We see a picture of Kristy in regular garb.

Box 21 with Lynda - £1

Box 8 with Leo - £50

We're liking this round very much, says Noel. He says some regard the third offer as the pivotal round.

Kristy picks Lorraine next, but Noel calls a break first...

We're back...

Final box before the Banker...

Lorraine pulled the tag before the break, so Noel holds it down until everything is ready. He confirms it was not tampered with during the break.

Box 4 with Lorraine - £20,000

Banker time...

The Banker reckons this is an interestingly balanced board.

Banker's offer:

£6,000

£6k is poor for the board. Pretty sure the Banker will do his best to make sure the player is in play at 5-box today.

Kristy's husband says that would do lots of things, and the family won't hate her if she gets it wrong. Kristy says this is her chance to make her family's life better; she explains how hard her family have it at the moment. Noel says lots of people sympathise with her. Noel wonders if the loss of £6,000 would be worse than stretching for more. Kristy's husband tells her to do what's right for her, and the family will back her all the way.

Kristy says:

NO DEAL

Third round complete at half past of the game. We all know now that the twist is going to be done again for the last time.

Just tuned in to see her taking about 10 zillion years to consider £6k.
The problem she has is the 1p, 10 & 50p. They are dragging the offers down as Noel would be putting it.

Round 4

Noel wonders whether that was the right thing to do.

Box 12 with Lloyd - £5,000

Box 9 with Bert - 50p

Yes yes yes, says Noel.

Kristy picks the newbie next, but Noel calls a break first...

Noel gives a trailer for Joan Collins's celebrity game, which is New Year's Day at 6:30pm.
